Yes?

As they've kept stating: it's a AAA title. It will receive AAA marketing. This means maximum exposure (pun not actually intended at all, but completely unavoidable).

I don't know why this is such a suprise. Most gamers are guys. Lots of guys read Playboy. Advertising in a magazine that is directed at your primary demographic makes sense.

Ok so if I worked in marketing, Id want to reach out to a demographic of men who live in the internet.

Id say the home of boobs is a fairly safe bet.

Playboy is an important source of news... for women. Playboy articles, such as the Dust 514 one, give women advance warning of what stupid obsessive hobby their man is likely to pick up next. Step 2, "how to subtly ****-block that obsessive hobby in the bud," is normally answered in "O" magazine or by watching Dr Phil.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.
