So with the apparent drone changes, does anyone have some solid facts on this? Like whats the percentage of minerals that come from the drone regions that actually end up on the market? And what are the changes exactly? Are the drones loosing all minerals or is it being cut but a small/large ammount? Or is everything that has been floating about just rumours and bullshit?

Edit;

So I managed to get the information that I wanted. CCP Soundwave says that 40% of comes from the drone regions. As seen in a tenton interview with him which you can see here - http://www.tentonhammer.com/eve-online/interviews/inferno-part-one

Mineral drops are to be replaced with bounties.

Those who know are already halfway profiting billions out of it. The others get rumors created to make them lose billions out of it. Also, if you put in a lil effort you could get better information outside of GD cesspool. Asymmetry of information = money for me, loss for you.

That information is commercially sensitive: I doubt there would be many capsuleers willing to offer you advice. An enterprising individual might look up some old records from the CONCORD bureau or Galnet. Otherworld Enterprises (run by the renowned Chribba) maintains an index of Galnet archives which will help.

But you don't simply walk into Mordor.

… and that's LOTRO not EVE isn't it? I might have been drinking.

Love how CCP phrased the drone change

"Alloys have been removed from the rogue drones, and bounties have been added to them to bring them in line with other faction mobs. Players no longer have to gather a cargo hold full of alloys to make rogue drone hunting lucrative."

Rather than

"Alloys have been removed from the rogue drones because they were f*cking up the economy and ruining miners' lives. Now that drone region power blocks can't control the economy, ratting bots will be less prominent and players win. Go figure!"

Well by posting I am putting in some effort to get some clarification about it. Which I have found thanks to Adunh.

40% of minerals come from Drone space, as stated by CCP Soundwave in a tenton interview you can find here; http://www.tentonhammer.com/eve-online/interviews/inferno-part-one

1. Minerals from drones removed completely - as they should
2. The minerals that came from alloys are rest assured A LOT
3. The changes appeared as rumours and bullshit only to the uninformed losers that now will be buying super expensive ships while traders laugh at their expense

You're welcome. It is no big secret, just playing silly forums games. This information is already posted in several places on the forums already.

Not silly forum games.

I have several billion riding on this market, I don't want another player entering the game and ruining things for me.

I have no interest in that part of the game. Was just looking for facts.

That's what they all say :P

One moment it's "So are you seeing anyone? Not asking, just curious …" the next it's, "you, me, and a stick of butter?"

In the same way, one moment it's, "just how much of this stuff do people actually buy, anyway?" Then it's "can you front me a 2B ISK loan at 5% so I can compete with you in the same market for 5B ISK worth of products?"

Always the same story.
