Why is it that Slaves affect Capital ships, but Crystals don't affect capital modules?

For now I'm just going to mark this up as another reason armour tanking is superior.

Because slaves work the oars faster and harder, and crystals are just pretty.

Because crystals have a much larger impact on the ships survivability. THe slaves just give them more buffer to chew through, which means a longer fight, where crystals give moar reps, which means you'd need a bigger fleet. I think we can agree that the fleets already need to be big enough.

I demand this be moved to ships and modules!

Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.

But Slaves on Titans are rediculous, and there is no Equivalent for shields. So shouldn't there be some kind of equivalent, or a buff to crystals?

Because CCP screwed up, and is beginning to realize this. The suggestion has been made to add:

* A shield version of Slaves.

* An armor version of Crystals.

Please don't make me dig up the link.

The idea of both sounds great to me.

* There needs to be a shield HP implant set as a counterbalance to the Slave set.

Would this mean that there also will be an armor tank version of the crystal set? In order to preserve balance in the universe?

That is entirely possible. I like my universe balanced.
