Fix to Dual screen offset

Hi, In the esc menu, we have the wonderful options for interface offset, but one thing has always irked me, and now it has become two. Time to post.

First, in login, the login info is right at the monitor seam. Can we get that offset with the settings?

Second, Character creator, same deal. Great vid and writeup for explaining the empires, but it is split down the middle. Can we get that on one monitor with offset so don't have to mess with vid settings back to single?

also hit notifications show up in the center of the screen. could we get those moved with offset as well?

and targets selected.. could we have a sort direction option. after you move it passed the center of the 2 screens, it switches directions. I want it to be on left screen and sort as it always has (right to left).

Take it you play dual like I do and many others, where you have the one main monitor for combat etc, and the side monitor for utility stuff?

i would love a dedicated multi monitor support .

monitor one eve shows the 3d game world . monitor 2 all of the chat channels fleet windows . targeting, dscan and stuff .

the off set is wonderful and thank you ccp for offering it. but please please expand multi monitor support . i would love one day to see a eve system with 3d world in one monitor , contracts market and pi in the second, targeting fleet stuff in the 3rd and chat channels in the fourth .

I agree with the op, eve dual monitor support could use a litte tweaking, like the messages in the middle of the two monitors you can't read. That being said, the multiple ,monitor support is way ahead of most of the MMOs out there. Some are just hideous. Try during SWTORs, it's UI for multimonitors is pure crap!

Yeah, that is why I was bringing it up. Eve dual monitor I really do love except for certain windows and menus.

Oh, this also reminds me of CQ dual screen and how they busted it. It used to be just like space when it came out, character offset actually allowed you to place the avatar right mid of my left monitor. As for my space UI, I love it. Here is my current setup.

Use triple monitors. That way you can center stuff nicely and it looks, frigging, awesome.

And oh yes don't use triple monitors for SWTOR, in fact just ignore SWTOR, unless you want a nice single player experience.

Is there any way to offset the bottom console to the left or the right?
(The bottom console being the site displaying shield armor etc.)
Would make it much easier for dual'in.

Yes, its in the options, can't really say how, don't have eve here. But you can change the location.

Yes, its in the options, can't really say how, don't have eve here. But you can change the location.


Just hover over the capacitor with the mouse cursor then click and drag left or right Smile

Oh, I would love to. However most graphics cards only come two monitor support. Some run triple at a higher cost. Either that or run SLi/x-fire. Both not having the money for atm, rl first and all.

The only reason I actually run dual screen was because they brought out the monitor support with offset and the like. It works really well. Just wanted to point out and bring the question because not everything is dual monitor friendly.
