When you would have posted that blog in June, directly after the Jita Riots, i would have been impressed.
But now 3 months later Mr. Zulu, i am sad, because this is a 'wallet' decision, you see the subs go down every day,
and finally decide something has to be done.

For years i have thought that CCP was a company where talented people worked on the best game in history,
whilst making good money along the way. Since Incarna i know it is the other way around.
You are now one of 'them' companies CCP.
You just have decided to keep 'the rabble crowd' happy for now to stop the bleed of unsubscribing characters.

The next fanfest i hope people will shout F U C K N O, instead of the pathetic F U C K Y E A H you made them kids
scream at your ' OMG it is going to be awesome pixels' that never made it in.

Shame on you.

Indeed, cautiously optimistic; Perhaps incarna won't be as bad as I originally anticipated.

I know this is a few days old, sorry I missed it, but I wanted to say this looks like it is full of SO MUCH WIN! I love pretty shinies too, but not at the expense of being able to tell my turrets apart, be able to tell what ship I'm in, drag and drop ships, and so much else. I'm glad functionality is being returned, that's what's important.

Like the majority of peolple on here have said, I am more interrested in you getting the flying ships in space stuff to work correctly than any crap you may or may not do in station, changing graphics or making writing in new fonts!

Hows about we make sure we can do things like, load our guns properly, not fly backwards or cloaked when we are in space, make sure the overload rack button and stop overloading rack buttons work when you click them.

All people really want is the functioning things to work how they are supposed to, everything else is just window dressing. I don't care what resolution I can see my ship in when I am docked, A picture or even just a little note in the top corner saying which active ship is fine as long as it means I can swap, and undock quickly. Please remember the real game is out in space, not watching tv and looking at pretend boobs in stations.

Ok grats. And when will you bring back the faction standing visibility in the character info ?

Thought they removed that for privacy purposes or whatever (not sure on the specific reasoning, but it seemed to be about sensitive information akin to skill points that they finally decided to make private)? You can still see yours in the character sheet. I do like how they've redone the display for a given NPC faction's standings tab, though.

A week laden with devblogs? I count two, is that what laden means in iceland lol. Out of the two only one had content as Zulu is in competition with the CSM to release posts without content. Vague statements do not, a devblog make. How about some content?

When can we expect the other 3 racial CQs?
When can we got hrough the door into the rest of the station?
When will we see new FiS content that is going to make the majority of eve happy?

You have my attention CCP...one more try, one more chance for you guys, and you best not screw it up. The ships are the stars in this game, not some Battlestar Galactica wanna-be avatars. Focus on the ships, make good on your once-upon-a-time dedication to them and you will reap the benefits, I can swear this to you. Or try and continue on the path you guys seem to think is better and you will be the rulers of a dead kingdom. The choice is yours.

Personally, if concentrating on station is the goal, being able to resculpt your character would be a welcome addition. Not having that ability is restricting, and takes the fun out of being able to customize your character. just my thoughts...

Seems too little too late. Is it possible the CCP Quality Control manager was sleeping with eyes open?

1) It is important to continually add new content, but adding broken content can make the game unplayable.

2) Market manipulation by CCP (i.e. allowing macro/bots to play/not get perma-banned, thus this influences lower 30 day plex price, thus this influences increased CCP profits) is just not acceptable in my eyes. The ban hammer just has not happened enough to improve mineral prices enough for industry to survive. The situation could be too far gone to recover from this error which happened a long time ago (years?).

3) Industry is the lifeblood of any alliance; everybody knows it, otherwise nul would not rely upon Jita for cheap goods. Have an incursion take over Jita so it has to move elsewhere and you will see what I mean. Moving all that m^3 to another location is not a quick process; it is also not a safe process.

But shutting down Jita's stations for a month or two would show you (CCP) just how bad your market design is. Where would they go? The players would chose. Another regional hub? A minor change to market mechanics could increase demand in all other regions. Similar to how Jove is off-limits to players... I suggest do the same to Jita i.e. make Jita NPC only.

The trick is allow viewing market buy orders placed in Jita viewable in all other regions. Your ability to sell your item at Jita prices locally from your mining/ratting/missioning/whatever area would effectively increase demand for goods at all other markets other than Jita, though the buy order occurs in Jita. NPC shipping would handle a majority of the goods transfer; unless players want "priority shipping" to receive the goods in minutes vs. hours/days (travel time dependent).

All those pvp players would have more targets in lowsec, nulsec, or even empire space to shoot. Demand increases would happen across the board for all locations including Jita. Population of Jita solar system would be eliminated. High-value goods would still be shipped by those reliable players. Automation of some of these market transactions would add benefit to all, whether pvp pilots trying to kill to get loot or other pilots trying to purchase cheap ships/modules/etc to use in nul.

This market idea is still in development, but feel free to analyze/tear-apart/contribute in order to have this make sense. But essentially, this is adding in a U.S. Postal Service/Federal Express/Dalsey-Hillblom-Lynn (DHL)/Royal Mail/United Parsel Service (UPS)/LDH Express/FCML Worldwide/TNT N.V./etc functionality to decentralize Jita buy-orders (demand). Players can pay extra fees to quicken the pace of delivery; included insurance costs would ensure the goods are delivered on time.

Players placing buy orders in remote nul markets ensures someone (either players or NPC shipping mentioned above) can meet demand by transporting goods to sell to them. Prices are already much higher than Jita in most other regions, so I believe there is plenty of profit margin to play with there.

I am a bit tired, so not sure what I missed. Please post what you think and I will make changes accordingly.

4) I think a module for cloaking while mining (maybe at slower rate or similar limitations could make it not overpowered) could be a move in the right direction; would only be a loot drop from officer spawn in nul; can only be fitted to ship while in nul (this cloak module auto-offlines when entering lowsec/empire space). In my thoughts, this could influence miners to take a chance mining in nul security space. After all, more ppl populating nul is a good thing for everybody.

During a quiet period on a fleet op recently, myself and several other pilots spent some time reflecting on what a truly amazing game Eve is and how devastated we would be if it was not around. We all agreed that sometimes we lose sight of this imporatant fact when we are caught up in bitching and moaning about the latest CCP V Players drama. Perhaps CCP have also been guilty of losing sight of what a great bunch of people play the game.

Bottom line is that the players love the game and the guys that made the game love the players - sometimes the everyday stuff clouds this fact but it is a fact none the less. Lets keep that in mind and move forward together, supporting each other when necessary, criticising each other when necessary but always in a spirit of mutual respect based upon both parties shared interest and love of the amazing Eve universe. Turate out.

so,

I hope I can still check the box not to load any station environment.

I have a decent computer but why use cpu i don't have to... I always have a 5 or 6 programs open on my threes screens.. (word, excel, a few browser instances with 15 or 20 tabs (not sure if the tabs that aren't visible take any memory but just in case), maybe itunes, often an adobe product like photoshop or ilustrator, if playing often evemon and or eft, a voice com program, maybe pidgin, of course backround stuff like virus protection,

I'm afraid you 're going to give us only two options Super heavy 3 d rendering , or Moderate 3 d rending, without leaving a flat un rendered picture of our ship which we had in the past.

I used to be able to dock, see my ship, but not spin it. I had all the click stuff availble.

A still shot of the ship im in like we had before is what I'd like to see reverted.

Took your sweet time to realize we're paying your wages, huh?
Good, now how about giving us back the option to store unlimited number of fittings locally instead 50 on the server?

Heh - you do remember what CCP Soundwave suggested, right? For an amount of money you can raise the number of fits you can save... It was only a suggestion, but it sure would explain why there is a limit if CCP is fixing to moneytize off of certain game-functions...
