First, he get's drunk like a teenager (on stage). Then he proceeds to rant in general about victims of scams and griefing, and about a depressed individual in particular - which he then proceeds to encourage others to help induce to commit suicide(!)

Then he feigns contrition and issues an apology to save his skin.

Having discovered that this ruse hasn't had the desired effect, he then becomes thoroughly entertaining....

Like a small baby having had its pacifier taken away, he lashed out at CCP, even though everyone can see that it is all entirely of his own doing. And whilst publicly proclaiming that he is contrite, and whilst posting official apologies on the forums, he also releases a State of the Goonian (link) where he advocates an all out attack on Jita (because he can't touch CCP itself), under the rather pathetic guise of it being some sort of socio-economic behavioral experiment to see how CCP will respond and whether EVE is still EVE.

In addition to this, he puts a new image up on his blog (link), suggesting that actually it isn't really his fault but that of CCP and (incredibly) the prevailing culture regarding alchohol consumption in Iceland....(!) Talk about trying to dodge responsibility for your own actions.

What an utter load on BS, coming from an obviously morally flawed, manic deppressive and very obviously bipolar sociopath.

What The Mittani needs to do is biomass his character, and never come near EVE again, because he clearly cannot handle the effect that it obviously has on his behavior.

My deepest sympathies. I can't be easy being the way he is.

Do you mean RL or ingame? Perhaps both?!

Say NO to CCP-EA.

I don't particularly like Goon playstyle all that much, but I do like Mittani for several reasons. He got **** done, he did a lot for the community and the game by standing up to CCP. It is a sad day that he has left the CSM and his position as Chairman.

You have enemies? Good, that means you stood up for something, sometime in your life.

Why hasn't anyone posted about this before?

Jint Hikaru - Miner / Salvager / Explorer / SpaceBum In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Nonsense. You don't seriously think that all that has happened wouldn't have happened if it hadn't been for him?
Everything that has changed over that past year was going to happen anyway, regardless of who was on the CSM.

I want him to burn Jita, he can't do that if he is biomassed.

Then I want him to run for CSM8 having payed his dues and learned from his mistakes as he tends to do (or so he says).

Between that I want him to enjoy himself in EVE as we all should doing the stuff we each like, if he likes blowing up your ships, protect them so they can't.

No, but what I think he was, was being one of the more vocal members of CSM6 and therefore a crucial part of CSM6 that called CCP out on their space barbie BS last year. I very much doubt that anyone else can replace The Mittani, no matter how driven or well formulated they are.

Being the most vocal person in the room doesn't mean you are the brightest or that you have the best idea. It just means that no one else can be heard, which is usually a pretty suboptimal outcome for the whole group.

Judging from the interaction between the people on the CSM panel, there is obviously quite a lot of discord between them, and most of it seems to revolve around one person. Guess who....
The Mittani is certainly the most vocal in the group, and he is also bright. Unfortunately, he's isn't nearly as bright as he seems to think he is, and that is invariably a very dangerous situation. Current "scandal" being case in point...

AFAIK people with past bans are not allowed to run for the CSM.

Gilbert Intaki,

Perhaps you should biomass your character, because your character data is a waste of disk space and your character communication - a waste of bandwidth, which negatively impacts and is interfering with gaming experience of the legitimate EvE players .

Biomassing a bunch of pixels on a screen does nothing. The human being behind the character is still there, still holds sway over his legion of fart-joke-cracking children, and still has an impact on this game.

You tell me if it matters one single iota.

No need to tell people what they should or could do with their characters. People are quite capable of making that choice for themselves.
