As you would know by seeing my alliance, I am on "your side" in the game. I hope you stay active and do your best to keep Eve the wonderful game that it is.

In real life, I'm an older guy who has had my share of success in professional life. You're also a professional, albeit a young one, and you represent yourself as such to the entire Eve community when you ask for our support as a CSM member. Therefore, I would expect you to always maintain your ability to think clearly and coherently at any moment that you are representing yourself, your alliance, and/or the Eve community at large. This is essentially anytime you are involved with the game, whether you like that responsibility or not.

I find it interesting and maybe revealing that your apology did not include you getting hammered to the point you lost ability to exhibit good judgment, to take responsibility for your actions, and to be a good representative to all your constituents both in and out of the game. It's your duty to do this, but it's unclear you understand this duty.

I doubt you'll face much legal trouble, at least not here in the USA, and I hope you do not have legal consequences anywhere. I can already think of a variety of ways you could avoid criminal prosecution. The issue goes beyond whether you are guilty of a crime, however. Are you a professionally responsible individual? Are you trustworthy enough to be given the role of representative of others, even in a game? Will those in your real-life legal community be concerned about your maturity and ethics? These are real concerns your apology fails to address -- and it's unclear whether you even see that these are potential problems at hand.

We all make mistakes in life, and all we can do is apologize, reverse the consequences of our mistakes (if possible), and be better people after the mistakes than we were before. Good luck to you in making all of these things happen.

You may or may not be a goon alt. But many are or are goon pets that are part of the Cult. You have to accept that if you are going to wade into this even with the best of intentions.

I have only recently posted, and what I am saying is that ALL people who issue death threats and so on should get banned form eve when petitioned. No, im not a goon alt, I want equality. Everyone willing to cause RL anguish from a game should be treated the same no matter what medium they use to inflict it. No matter what their stature in game.

I think that's what currently happens, or at least what the rules state.
