i totally agree with you, there's absolutly no excuse for something like that, not only that you've done something really stupid, this reflects badly on the hole EVE Universe.

I guess I'm part of Mitten's 10k+ for voting for him, but he did help lead CSM6 to save EVE. I think this whole thing is over and done. If the miner knows that Alex is sorry and has accepted his apology, than why should he step down? The fact that this is blowing up in our community is why its being reported, just like Jita was last year. Lets move on to more important issues than drunk CSM chairman spews bullshit at fanfest.

CCP already has your money, just who do you think they're after. Despite all of this 'back to the core' rhetoric, they are most certainly after new subscribers, just no longer at the expense of the current ones.

You illustrate a good point, this is a binary situation - one side will win and one side will lose. I'm guessing the answer is pretty clear cut - they're just biding time till low tide.

Ignoring all the moral posturing and butthurt opportunists, the only real problem I see is that the CSM not only represents the playerbase, but also in part CCP who have a corporate image and marketing strategy to preserve (in the uk at least online `bullying` is getting a lot of focus with prison sentences being handed out for online comments, we cant have ccp tarnished with this brush due to a **** who uses alcohol as an excuse for rank stupidity.)

As such mittens has got to go.
