Another TLDR... This is the respective law related to this particular subject, in the UK...

Suicide Act 19611961 CHAPTER 60 9 and 10 Eliz 2

Criminal liability for complicity in another’s suicide.(1)A person who aids, abets, counsels or procures the suicide of another, or an attempt by another to commit suicide, shall be liable on conviction on indictment to imprisonment for a term not exceeding fourteen years.

(2)If on the trial of an indictment for murder or manslaughter it is proved that the accused aided, abetted, counselled or procured the suicide of the person in question, the jury may find him guilty of that offence.

(3)The enactments mentioned in the first column of the First Schedule to this Act shall have effect subject to the amendments provided for in the second column (which preserve in relation to offences under this section the previous operation of those enactments in relation to murder or manslaughter).

Its All Politics, no matter what happens now if he steps down as chairman will he still be on the CSM,and he will probally be elected as chairman next time round ( unless ccp put in rules for the CSM )

I wonder if CCP is mulling over the idea of cancelling the CSM as a whole or not. I'm sure they wouldn't want a scandal like this to hit them from some other random CSM member in the future. We live in interesting times.

Mittani encouraging thousands of people to mock a suicidal person doesn't seem to be a big deal to many people. That is sick. What he did cannot be covered up by him making an apology to try to pretend like he cares or has remorse for what he did. Mittani needs to resign from the CSM entirely, he has caused enough damage as it is, no need to continue onwards in his sick and sadistic path. Mittani's only way to make amends for what he did would be to resign from the CSM and to biomass his character.
