No its not, what I am worried about is a civil lawsuit. All this guy has to do is get a psychologist to determine that his mental health has deteriorated due to events happening at the Alliance Panel, then hire the psychologist as a professional witness (I am going by how US lawsuits usually go, I have been been involved in a few so no this isn't "LOL INTERNET LAWLYER" like some goonie is surely going to start spewing).

I don't care if the Mittini gets sued and now has to live in a box. I do not want CCP to get sued as that can possibly slow development of EvE online considerably.

Personal opinion, a fair bit. He still knows more about the game than most anybody else in eve. Still represents one of the largest mobile nullsec alliances around with the most diverse activity. I doubt he will get the VIP access however. He will still forum, mail with CSM and regardless of antics, his opinions still will hold weight.

Yea most likely. Unfortunately CCP has holdings under US jurisdiction, so that means they can still be sued in the US. I don't know where this miner guy is located, so lets hope he lives somewhere in the EU where frivolous lawsuits are less common.

His opinions wont be anything more than yours or mine if he is removed or banned. The NDA should stop keeping him in the loop if the CSM does what they are supposed to.

I'm still laughing at you guys using this event, which had no effect on the guy in question (seriously he gives not a single ****), as an excuse to get a democratically elected leader removed from his position merely because a few vocal morons posting under NPC Alts have an issue with suicide ganking and scamming, which are allowed under the EULA.

I have been mailed RL death threats, threats to harm my family and other vile mail in my days as a lowsec pirate, and simply for exploding some stupid persons vessel. Should they all get perma bans too? I keep the old hate mail as its funny, so, shall I start petitioning them? Oh and I imagine these threats wernt made by drunk people either, simply angry people sat at their PCs, isnt that worse?

The thing is, I wont petition them as it is a game, a tough game for sure that deals out hard medicine, but I wouldnt take these peoples game away from them even if they do make threats to me.

Trust me, I almost know what I'm doing.

Do you not know the difference between cyber bullying and griefing? This is clearly griefing. Cyber bullying is repeatedly going after this guy again and again constantly. Bringing up an old story during a presentation and making fun of the conversation once and not constantly harassing this guy is not cyber bullying. How does this differ from any number of the greifing and smack talking that goes on in the game, on the forums, on third party websites, evenews24, kugu etc. etc.? Its every pvp players given right to smack talk and give crap to people who are stupid and explode to make a huge deal out of losing internet spaceships and pixels. Every alliance and corp is guilty of it and everyone has done it. Nobody makes light of the people walking up to the mic when Mittens is sober and trying to do a CSM panel and gets bombarded with players not asking questions and only wanting to say he is a douchebag and he sucks etc.! Why isnt that cyberbullying? Why doesnt that get shamed on? Oh yeah... its because nobody cares and its all in good fun and its part of the game and the experience in being in a perpetually changing world of pvp fun and hilarity.

We laughed because its something that happens all too often and each time its a little varied and different and another great story. Even the guy who was at the center of it The Wis doesnt even care and laughed about it.

You few high sec prudes need to get over yourself and you people on your alts who are doing this just to see mittens go down in flames are nothing but hypocrites as you know you have done the same crap multiple times.

Mittens doesnt need to resign. All he did was grief a player and more 75% of the player base would have done the same thing in his position given the opportunity. We all love tears in this game and these were sweet tears of loss.

What will be funny is if he does step down as chairman that he would run for CSM8 and win again just to spite all the hypocrites and prudes who have come out underneath their rocks just to spread flames on stuff they dont understand or are completely oblivious to.
