Not really, there's not any prepared statements we're getting from CFC upper crust about this or whatever. I personally would get pretty pissed off of the two votes I threw towards Mittani ended up being worthless due to a kneejerk reaction to a drunken comment that he's apologized for getting him removed from the CSM, no matter how the removal happened. Chalk it up to me being a horrible awful goonie gewn goon goon if you want, but I'd hate to see someone who's got a proven history of being able to help make changes that I consider positive happen to a game I care about forced out because of a single moment of bad judgement. Everyone makes mistakes, after all.

I was there, and semi-involved with the first goon corps (griefing them for the most part) they were just another bunch of newbies making corps and playing a game.

once they moved to syndicate they were having lots of fun swarming and defeating older players, they loved eve

short time later they moved in with red alliance and TCF and became my close allies until I got kicked out of IAC, so I'd say I know more about them and their history and intentions than you do

It's seemed to me in my whole 12 hours of forum experience that that's the status quo. "If I shout it loud enough, it'll become the truth."

The truth is, unfortunately, the one thing nobody is really confronting:

I really hope CCP doesn't have to step in here (for business reasons or whatnot). I think it's important that The Mittani act of his own accord, and either step down or announce his intention to stay. In real-world politics we don't get to just replace our elected officials, but we definitely get to pressure them into action and if they refuse to take said action they don't get re-elected. This should be no different.

The social depth of this game is already making this noob very, very happy with his new gaming home. :)

You can't literally discount the views of a giant portion of the eve playerbase just because they're "you goons". That's also ignoring the fact that it's hardly ONLY goons who think this entire situation is a load of garbage.
