CSM The Mittani's Misconduct Calls for Resignation - We Did It!

I seem to recall a certain... INCIDENT that occurred concerning UAxDEATH & Co. where as a result of director-level account sharing that the leadership most definitely had a hand in one naughty person stole a bunch of crap from the aforementioned bunch of people. The interesting part is that all this stole stuff was returned to UAxDEATH and no one was banned for anything. People can get their stuff back if account hax have occurred and can be conclusively proven, in which case the hacker gets banned. Account sharing, however, should have seen the banhammer come down on those who engaged in it, but it didn't. Why not? Was it not because at that point UAxDEATH was on the CSM?.. I'm sure the official version is that of course no, no favoritism, but tinfoil hat or no tinfoil hat, the facts don't change that consequences for EULA violation seem to have been... sidestepped for this individual (and Co).

So, even if CCP might clearly communicate that this kind of behavior is a no-no and draw the line here (because they can), which would be a pretty good move to quiet those who find it unacceptable and are vocal about it, there will probably be no action take against anyone. It could even be justified as something like "well, he did it before we took any kind of a stance on this issue, so it doesn't count".

I don't really care one way or another about this whole thing, perhaps moral relativism is to blame, but I'm interested to see what CCP will do. Prediction, herd all discussion into this thread, then let it fizzle out and allow this to be forgotten.

Mittens is exactly the kind of person I WANT on the CSM. I don't care much for Goons in general, but Mittani doesn't censor what he says, and says what he thinks. Right or wrong, that's what you want in an elected official.

The last thing I want is for Eve politics to end up just like real world politics, where canned responses are echoed ad infinitum to appease lazy and corpulent masses.

As for this 'make him want to kill himself business,' I could honestly care less. More brutal slander is hurled around Dodixie local during the average lunch hour. Taking this seriously is like sending someone in for psych evaluations every time they say with exasperation 'I'm going to hang myself if X.'

This smacks more than a little of bitter politics, where people just cant get over the fact that someone they personally don't like got more votes.
