Political correctness has its limits and most of the times it's quite annoying. But there's some things you don't take out of the in-game context and transpose into real life no matter how harmless they may seem at some point. You meet turds, you run into cowards or a$$hats... it's part of the game experience and should stay there.

You couldn't make EVE a politically correct game even if CCP got bought by Blizzard and made into a WoW in space MMO.

As for the guy getting 10k votes... It's actual relative to the existing active accounts. If some EVE forum rumours are true and there's more than 300k active accounts around the time that CSM voting occurs corroborated to the fact that this individual got the best number on the votes, it should actually show CCP that there's a problem with the CSM since so few players vote.

If the best-voted candidate gets under 10% of the eligible voting subscribers, well, that's a warning signal that the CSM does not really represents the player base.

The HTFU song is just some promotional gig CCP did. Nothing more and noting less. It's a marketing gig to attract players. If CCP was so bent out on being Judge Dredd or the Terminator, I don't think we'd have this much fuss about bots. So, for people going with HTFU gig as being EVE anthem, a big phat smile - you fell for a marketing gimmick.

As for CCP should not ASK bit... no, they should have demanded or put an end to that as soon as it started. The panel was under the tutelage of CCP. I frankly don't care about that one bit, but there's a whole lot of other people that do. For CCP it would have simply been some damage control.

Maybe they should implement an actual rule: What happens in EVE, stays in EVE; disrespect that and we take the CCP Banhammer to your balls.

I dont care about the what the OP wrote, and i dont really care about the guy who threatens about to suicide over a game, he should really talk to a RL person about his condition.

but what i do care about is The Mittani, anyone who put "the" infront of his name should in my oppinion have his head checked.

and as long he is chairman of CSM i dont ******* care about CSM, they mean nothing to me. and if CCP think they will help the game get better, think again.

With Goonswarm at maximum CTA trying to defend Mittani, their post mods will be burned out soon from constantly overheating. It is almost as if they think that their efforts will prove meaningful. This is desperate damage control, it almost seems like Goonies think it will help.

I will miss his efforts in the CSM, but I won't miss him personally. All the comments from Goo-ns in this thread will be made so much more irrelevant after he gets removed.

He has brought shame to CCP, the CSM and the Eve community as a whole. Theo only thing I am glad of, is that he showed his true colors early and now people know exactly what sort of person he is. +1 for that.
