Wow, if this is true then Mittani is one seriously messed up individual. Far beyond whatever he role plays as in the game. This isn't douchebaggery, this is flat out insanity. No normal person would ever consider doing something like that.

This dude has some serious issues... I wonder what he would do with himself if he didn't have EVE to keep him stable and give him an outlet? Kill the neighborhood cats, I guess.

Crap, you know what? Let him have CSM. Maybe that's the secret the goons all have that makes them support him unanimously. They know he's a ticking timebomb that might go on a shooting spree at his workplace one day if he doesn't have some outlet for craziness. >_> Having him muck up some video game is a small price to pay to keep that from happening.

If I was CCP, I wouldn't want the game associated with this sort of behavior/conduct.

You know it was out of order and he should say sorry and whatever CCP feels is appropriate. Personaly I i think hes disgusting. But thats my opinion.

Howver, people might want to try and keep their opinions chilled on the grounds that at the very least the gaming press will be trawling through thease forums to get more copy. Thats not incuding real press, god knows what they will do with this if they get hold of this, we do alremember that the mainstream press love gaming as do american senators looking for ammo right?

Of course then there is Sony, thoses guys who love to see negative press for a games company they are about to give bandwidth to with their AAA shooter.

CCP have just gone through a rough patch, finacialy. I dont know if this will blow up any further, however bearing that in mind it might be worth keeping the opinions polite and not shouty casuse I sure as **** dont want to wake up to find EVE in the daily mail and have to defend it to people when someone who is apparently my mouth peice (I voted for Two step) is spouting this in a public arena.

It's hardly uncommon behavior for a certain type of personality to push actually suicidal people as hard as they can.

1) Every time somebody mentions mittens on the forums, his ego grows. Is that what you want?

2) I'm sure the saying about "no such thing as bad press" has occurred to mittens. I'm sure he is enjoying this.

3) I don't care about the CSM. I don't care about mittens. I don't care what CCP does about it in the end.

4) Here's the thing... you guys need to decide wtf the CSM is supposed to be... that goes out to CCP and the player base too. If it's the dog and pony show I think it is just forget about it. Who cares what they do. Yah it's bad press for the game but then goons are more about tearing stuff down anyway. Que sera sera, motherf******. If you want the CSM to be serious business, you need to treat it as such. If one is a "stakeholder", they need to be held to account. Harassment, to borrow from the vague parlance of the EULA, is bannable. The metagaming aspect of eve blurrs the lines on this from my perspective, and goons are masterful metagamers, so I don't know what the answer is. Examine the rule of law (we don't have many...), if it was broken maybe give him a 2 week ban and kick him from the CSM. If not stop crying about it and let's move on...

5) If I had to guess from what I understand about the EULA, if somebody told you they were going to off themselves in game and your response was "sweet... post the vid to youtube and give me a mention" that would be within the bounds of the game though arguably immoral. If, however, you got a bunch of people to constantly harass that person, it would be grief play and harassment and then it's up to the GMs but it's bannable.

So I just made some hella good breakfast burritos.

I've never seen that behavior but I don't really associate with manchildren who claim they are suicidal to avoid consequences in a video game.
