Think about this for one second. If this dude did kill himself, and his family/loved ones discovered that he had been mocked publicly and someone encouraged others to harrass him at a CCP event, what do you think this would do to their public image.

Doesn't matter if the guy meant it or not, Suicide is not funny, despite what the internet hardmen/spegers think.

Yeah, you got me. I missed servers and website. He is still gone though regardless of what any CCP document might say.

In fact I'm gunna go out on a limb here and predict that the video of him saying what he said ends up on national news within 48 hours. Probably less actually. I wonder if its sunk in for him yet just exactly what he's done to himself. I've seen the video, and it looks bad, real bad, and its gunna look even worse once they edit it.

Ummm.... no? I had tremendous respect for Mittani the Great until he decided to undone EVERYTHING he has accomplished in a single day.

He is eloquent and he definitely knows how to command crowds. He's probably the top pick for CCP as CSM Chair until he decided to incite thousands of others to provoke a known suicidal to commit suicide.

I do not hate Goons. Goons just needs a better leadership and Goons will prevail without him.

Exactly, what happened is that the CSM chairman encouraged thousands of people to mock a player until he commits suicide, if you fail to see how wrong is that then there is no hope for you.

No your argument is ridiculous. You're taking a passive action - 'wearing brown shoes' and assuming that it is a suitable representation of an active action - 'inciting people to harrassment'. This is obviously either a failure on your part to understand the difference or a purposeful omission. By your logic it should be ok to shoot someone and then claim that they were dying anyway. No reasonable person could argue that this is a passive act - certainly not someone as apparently intelligent as Mittani.

Asking people to harrass a (potentially) suicidal person - not ok.

Oh, and the whole thing was broadcast via a live stream; CCP are most certainly culpable for anything they broadcast, including incitement to harrassment (not passive (just thought I'd help you out there)).
