Tech 4 ships.

You choose a subsystem/fitting layout. Then you make four more layouts. And during a fight, you can transform between the layouts as needed, effectively switching tactics and fittings mid combat.

Because that totally wouldn't be overpowered at all. Lol

Rorqual turns into a stationary refinery with a tower, storage units that extend and ramps. Honestly it takes forever to deploy and requires indy core skill/mod/fuel, but it is awsome and crushes ore down to 10x smaller. It is a super power huge robot that eats ore =)

megathhron and tristan do look like robots , tristan (aka fatman) actually flies vertically.
