CSM The Mittani's Misconduct Calls for Resignation - We Did It!

Congratulations! Mittani the Great resigned from both the CSM7 and the CSM7 Chairmanship. His resignation assures all the stakeholders that there are some lines that simply can not be crossed.

Do not forget that it is not CCP that "thrown Mittani the Great under the bus." It is your own representative who threw himself under the bus. Even Mittani the Great admits his own mistake. Stop asking for "re-election" because you voted for a representative and he fked it up.

Remember, if a no-name alt like me exhibited the same misconduct, I would've been immediately banned by CCP. You should be VASTLY CONTENT that Mittani the Great only got a slap on his wrist.

According to a notable game news media outlet, Mittani has expressed his intention to resign! Hopefully, EVE Online will be a better place without him. Hopefully, CSM could stand proud under the new leadership.

And for those who are disappointed, do not despair! Goons will prevail under better leadership


I would like to call for the resignation of “The Mittani” in regards to his complete misconduct during the Fanfest 2012 Alliance Panel. Per CSM Representative Conduct article of the Council of Stellar Management, all active CSMs are bound to abide by EULA and TOS and are subject to immediate dismissal and permanent exclusion regardless of infraction. As the representative of the best of the EVE players, more stringent stance is given as they are “expected to uphold the social contract that all society members are held accountable to, but should also set a behavior standard for everyone else to follow.

For those who are unfamiliar with The Mittani’s misconduct, please refer to the link where he knowingly encouraged thousands of potential Fanfest viewers to send mails to an EVE player who has exhibited a history of mental instability, to provoke him to commit suicide

CSMs are elected to exhibit the best of their behaviors, may it be in drinking, partying, or playing EVE, but knowingly encouraging other players to take part in a possible suicide of a player in front of thousands of EVE and non-EVE audiences crosses boundaries.

When asked to answer for his misconduct, he only gave a nonchalant answer. He should have been begging on his knees, apologizing for his childish behavior. If a no-name player like me incites thousands of EVE Online players to partake in an act to provoke a mentally unstable person to commit suicide, I would have been banned by CCP without question. By the tone of his postings, he is completely unapologetic of his misconduct. Is it ok that because he's the head of CSM, that he can do whatever he wants

For the future of the CSM, please consider the dismissal of The Mittani from CSM

Just watched the whole presentation. The first three were quite ok, actually the WH guy was great! After them things got from bad to worst. The Mittani was by far the WORST presenter, no wonder people in the audience told him to F^ck off and were leaving. The Mittani started his presentation saying he sucked last year at the Alliance Board Presentation, so this year he wants to make it special... it was a PAIN to watch, making fun of people that were having a divorce and sought comfort in EVE was NOT fun, not to mention the "suicide part". At that moment he was wasted.

The CCP guy that was there tried to shut this thing off when The Mittani finished his presentation, but he was stopped because people wanted to ask questions, that is when The Mittani basically said the nasty stuff, after someone asked a question. I think CCP ought next time to ban any alcohol and keep things proper. Its embarrassing...
