Its the cake day in LAGL. \o/

I now have a big loaf of chocolate sponge cake with chocolate-coffee spread.

Its amazing.


But I cant get my video card working in any way possible. There are some green artifacts and driver is crashing when I swith it on in program manager, only VGA works and normally everything else works. Reinstalled it couple of times and currently researching why can it work in VGA only. Monitor is normally plugged in, I cleaned the card and resettled in the port and it fixed nuffin'. 😭

Looks like petty thieves, rather not murderers or fighters. And, as Yiole said, you would rather not fight a girl that just destroyed a big guy.


Strange, now my GPU was working for longer, my GPU card had 35 C and fan speed 35 %
GPU Voltage was just under 1 V, Power consumption around 10%, memory used only 66 Mhz.

Then I launched EVE and everything went up, and it crashed immediately but regained stability of the driver, and this happened few times and then computer just restarted. 👎

Now I uninstalled drivers with this tool called DDU and I dont know what to do, maybe reinstall drivers agan and see if this will work.

Try reinstalling with a driver cleaning program in between. Such as DriverSweeper

Nope, it cant be helped.

But I am surprised how good everything works even with VGA. Videos are smooth, I can play HoMM 3 on this machine without problems.
Emulators are working for older console games also. Installed EVE on laptop already.

Ahhh, playing EVE. The memories. I just bought GTA V from Steam and while it was installing, I fancied taking Ish out to kill some rats. For the old times.

Logs in and...

- Ish doesn't haves a combat ship she can fly as alpha, anywhere
- looked for alpha fits
- found an alpha fit for a Punisher
- found an "advanced" version which should be be fine with Ish since she can't train any further Alpha skills i.e. haves maximum Alpha skills
- fly to Jita
- start buying stuff
- insufficient power...
- buy rig as per fit
- buy more stuff
- insufficient CPU...
- checks fittings site. Says Punisher haves 175 CPU. Checks game. Says Punisher haves 168 CPU
- checks and shuffles around modules. Unfits, packages, sells, buys, fits...
- insufficent power again
- speculates about implants, about CCP rebalancing the Punisher, about the fit being old (at 6 months!), about the author being an a-hole...
- checks time

80 FUKKING minutes later, I haven't accomplished anything in EVE other than flying to Jita, wasting ISK and get a half-arsed Punisher not fit for combat.

Thanks you CCP for reminding me what piece of sh*t of a game is EVE Online. 1 hour and 21 minutes remaining to finish downloading GTA V...

Good choices! Have fun with Dune, it's a trip. Such a grandiose, bizarre setting - thanks, LSD! If you read the sequels, they get even weirder somehow.

I won't say don't read anything Brian Herbert and/or Kevin J. Anderson wrote, just keep in mind they weren't dropping enough acid to really live up to the originals. Moderately entertaining pulp fiction as long as you go into it with tempered expectations.
