EVE is becoming an alienated game. And just wait for the discourse-based abomination to hit us, F2P forums for a game that's quickly devolving into a state where subcriptions are not enough. Keeping highsec PvErs subscribed was so difficult, wasn't it? So difficult that CCP didn't even tried. So now the PCU is below last year's, even after going F2P just 6 months ago.

Eeeeeh, my windows broke, or something in it. It hangs when I am not in the safe mode. Works for few minutes then stops.
Scandisk did not show any errors, but maybe I will have to scan it more extensively. There were some updates also so maybe restoring the system will work somehow.

Its all sunshine and lolipops until something like that happens. *sigh* 😒

Yes, I have, but temperatures show normal 53C on processor and 31C on main board.

Doesn't sound like a drive or cpu issue, more like a case of badly written software, or should I say badly written malware.

Well, two more possibilites: since it happens when not in safe mode, there might be a conflict between GFX/sound on the motherboard and dedicated GFX/sound boards on the computer, triggered by a driver update. Graphic drivers conflicts are very common in laptop systems with a dedicated GFX card.

Also you may try Malwarebytes' free anti-malware tool for a quick scan of your system, even if you have an antivirus. Better safe than worry.

Strange things are happening here. Voltage on processor seems fine. Its not processor I think. There were some issues with windows update, it hanged and it made computer froze in beginning. I found that in the system informations, some administration tools.I will have to study this problem further after some sleep, its too late now. Its working in safe mode with net support so I can find a way to solve this problem eventually. And I can give likes.😎👍

Strange like Imicus?

I hope my computer problems will be resolved after reinstallation of drivers for graphic card as It hanged by making some strange black dots on the screen on random locations while in normal mode. One component for the graphic drivers is giving error when starting in normal mode now. But I have to use the chkdsk first because there were also some errors on disk after I wanted to restore from a restore point. Suspiciously it works fine in safe mode and even videos are playing and flash is working, but no audio, maybe I will have to reinstall audio too. Available screen area is shrinked and black frame around it in safe mode. Maybe I will use the repair option for windows from a repair disc when everything I wrote earlier will not work. And if that will not work I will have to go deeper into that rabbit hole.

Of course I can use spare laptops, maybe even install EVE at the one that is better at playing games. I want my EVE!
