What will be the AUR price of Skill Extractors? Show us your guess!

(Read this in the event that you don't know what a Skill Extractor is but want to take aprt in this mini-game)

Just a mini game with no prizes, only for bragging rights.

My guess is 900 to 950 AUR (nine hundred to nine hundred fifty), based on how many skillponts can be obtained with 5 €/$ worth of a PLEX, and the amount of AUR buyable with 5 €/$.

I can't honestly imagine they're going to charge more than 5 dollars for it. But hey, this is the company that introduced 100 dollar cosmetic items and charges 15 dollars for a cosmetic ship skin...

What should it be? It should be a microtransaction. Micro meaning small. S. M. ALL - Small.

But this is CCP, so it will be at least 10x what it should be to be of any use to newbies, the so-called intended customers.

So I'm guessing a PLEX might buy you 2 of these things once it rolls out.

100-200 AUR if CCP have a speck of reason left in them. But I weouldn't be surprised if they charged a plex for them.

1 plex currently gets you what? About 1.5m sp (a months worth) through multiple character training?
SP packets are 500k (lowest tier, 400k will be usual) so the absolute minimum would be 1/3 of a plex (as it gives 1/3 the sp), or 3 per plex. However, SP packets have 2 important advantages over multi char training.
- This SP applies to a main, not just alts.
- This SP applies instantly rather than having to wait for training
There is one main disadvantage.
- Rather than pulling sp from thin air as MCT does, it must extract it from someone else, adding to the final cost.

I agree with war kitten, I expect the price of just the extractors will be about half a plex, at least.

Given the current prices of the stuff in the Nex or whatever it's called, anybody would think that CCP don't want more people to buy cosmetic items; $1000 jeans springs to mind, are they trying to be space Gucci?

I'm guessing somewhere in the region of 250M to 500M isks worth of AUR (800-1700 AUR?) will be their entrypoint.

Well with sp trading and injectors CCP has an opportunity to use up surplus PLEX that's in-game, so I think PLEX is the best way at least where CCP is concerned.

I think that for given value of SP cost in AU should be exact to value of money needed to pay subscription time needed for that amount of SP to accumulate. Taken into consideration values of default character atributes and LvL 5 implants.
