Tora, you should show everyone how badass Marmite is and make the war mutual.

Tryed that one and this http://prntscr.com/9q2vvd

Yeah, it was interesting that you made the war mutual and yet he was able to retract it. Does he have an alt with directorship in the executor corp that could have retracted the mutual declaration?

I'd get in contact with CCP. They should be able to tell you how he was able to retract it when you did have it mutual.

I dunno I was lost about that one, Dont understand at all and dont see the point contacting CCP, only tell me some crazy story.

Pluz He war deced my alt corp, so I could get back into war with them in 4hours, sack wating 24hours .
Be fun when I get more people to war dec Marmite, all be come soon.

Marmite are desperate Now as they are falling apart, soon die off when more war decs go in..

You can't simply kill Marmite as you simply can't kill CODE. or goons or any well established alliance, they last long for a good reason ;)

I'd get in contact with CCP. They should be able to tell you how he was able to retract it when you did have it mutual.

EDIT: So it appears that when a war is made mutual, after a week of the war being live the aggressing corporation can retract the war without penalty and having to submit any type of mail to the defending corporation to do so. So, Tora simply retracted the war because he bit off more than he can chew.

More than likely he won't make it mutual, so you'll have to pay for it every week. I'm sure he's banking on you running out of ISK before his pilots run out of stupidity (which is fair, because their stupidity is endless).

As always I enjoy watching these wars.

Curious if Tora will care about the war report since he will now be the defender. Point being, if he wanted to fix a war report after losing a fight, we would clearly see who he is paying to "fix" the war as they would assist him. I've always been a fan of attacking without breaks until the opponent no longer logs in anymore.

If Tora really do have 500 bill, congrats by the way Cool, why would he care about 2 billion isk in ships? In this case membership is worth much more than kredits. CEO's need members just as much as FC's need numbers. If this war does carry on I'm curious to see who wins the log in count.

A little bit of history: When PoH war decced Marmite the story went along the lines of "Wait until Marmite logs in and then watch their every move until they made a mistake." As the war continued past a month Marmite log ins dropped drastically and their only means of protection was sticking together during concrete timezone spans.

Now we can compare this to a few other wars Marmite has been in and the methods were much more relaxed.
1. Merc corp only logs in during 1 timezone
2. Merc corp flies between 2 hubs and if nothing is there log off
3. Sit on undock until Marmite comes into local
4. Take over Amarr and let Marmite infest Rens, Dodixie, Hek, and Jita

To close the loop, I'm interested to the see the commitments of the groups involved on both sides. Will Marmite have total hub denial? Will a merc group move into Uedama? Will Marmite hire RvB or Brave?

Much can happen these next few weeks. Keep up the fights and the narratives P

Whilst Sue and Tora are fighting, or trying to minimise ship loses, will they be honouring their current contracts? No.

Will the winner receive the lion share of future contracts? If they communicate their win effectively, yes.

If I was faced with a future loss of income revenue would I be calling in other alliances, favours, and spending isk to win? Yes.

Future customers (not mercs) don't care if merc etiquette is breached we just look at kill board stats.

Thieving pirates discuss INTEGRITY; Anarchist gankers give us LAWS; and Whoring merc's cry then blow off clients with INSULTS.

Marmite hires Vendetta. When we dec'd Marmite about a week ago (shortly before I joined), it went something like this.

1.) Archetype decs Marmite.
2.) Almost with-in an hour, Vendetta decs Archetype.
3.) Tora informs Zero Threat that he will have Vendetta drop the dec against us if we drop the dec against him. Zero refuses.
4.) Tora asks Sue to get us to drop the dec against Marmite, in exchange for 100 POCOs in high sec (initially, we thought he was offering us the POCOs). Sue contacts us, entire alliance agrees Tora can't be trusted and so we don't drop the dec.
5.) Tora contacts Enzee and Zero directly, and offers to allow us back into the Merc Contracts channel (I believe Zero was banned when UWOF left Marmite 18+ months ago). Enzee and Zero agree, we drop the dec. Vendetta dropped the dec against us at the same time. To date, Tora refuses to unban Archetype.

So as I said, we'll be fixing the mistake we made in dropping the war dec, since Tora proved he is a lying little ****.

I'll speak for myself.

Tora is a risk-adverse, uncultured child. He talks a big game, and he'll go after people who can't--or won't--put up a fight nine-times-out-of-ten. He's looking for easy kills, as many "high-end mercs" routinely do once they actually put themselves on a pedestal. Each time he is forced to fight someone, though, he runs. He'll cry about how he's being picked on, or trashtalk them on their advertisement threads. But not once will he actually fight. When he's forced into a confrontation by someone who is competent, he'll lose spectacularly. That's par for the course when it comes to him. And while I respect this game is all about lying and deceit to get your way, there's a difference between doing it for a big payout or for a significant strategic victory, and just lying because you lack to fortitude to sit there and put up a fight.

Any time Marmite is dec'd by a competent group, Tora runs to get under the desk of some other "well-respected" mercenary group and find himself people to save him. Not help him, save him. You can imagine what he's doing under said desk while he's being rescued. Not too much lipstick this time, Tora. He's simply unwilling to put up a fight (when I was in there several years back, Tora actually put out an alliance mail after we were dec'd by God Squad. We were told in no uncertain terms to avoid fighting them and stay docked as long as we were dec'd by them. UWOF at the time refused to be cowards and we fought while Marmite hid).

I mean, look at the war with What Squad. Sue made that war mutual, and after one fight that threw the ISK efficiency out the window, Tora retracted the war and came here to say Sue paid him 5-bil, after beating him hands-down, and even made up a wallet entry to "validate" his claim. But Sue's about to fight again, so who do you think can be trusted: a guy who lies about simple things and can't lose with grace, or the guy who can provide the proof as to what he's saying?

And in case you're wondering, Tora is the liar in that rhetorical question.

Leadership is something you learn. Maybe one day, you'll learn that.

I just don't understand why Mercs would hate on each other when they have the same ultimate objective...

Marmite's only "Service" they offer is occasionally denying Jita to targets. Sometimes Uedama, but that is far more hit-and-miss than the Jita undock. And all mercenary corporations have the same objective: make ISK for themselves. However, there will be times they work together for a mutual goal, but it's rare. Normally, if there's no ISK involved, a mercenary entity won't be involved. Or sloppy blowjobs, in the case of Tora's relationship with Vendetta.

Leadership is something you learn. Maybe one day, you'll learn that.
