Please Install a different color to render the D-scan. White, blue, green but not red. Red color blends with the color of the signatures, it is not very convenient.

When warping, I've had it happen several times where it looks like I lagged and my ship slingshots back a few KM, only to continue what it was doing from where it got "pushed" back. My corpmates state they can see my ship being yanked back in space, so I doubt it is a lag issue.

This also happens when moving to an object, like station, accel gate or gate. I almost lost a ship last night because of this. I jumped a gate, landed 11km off it, got shot at and burned back to gate. I was 3km from it, when suddenly I was 8km from the gate. I was unable to jump until I was at 0m because the client stated "You need to be within 2500m to perform that action"

While warping to stations with the "Dock" order, the ship will slingshot back a few meters after warp, and the message "You need to be within 2500m to perform that action" displays. Also the dock order is canceled and the ship just idles in space once it reaches 0m.

I am digging the new probing window, but I have a couple of things:

1. I would like to be able to shut off the display of the D-scan zone--it can be a little obtusive.
2. I want my "doughnut" (plus modules/buttons/etc.) to overlay the full-screen map so I can verify that I'm still cloaked and moving.
3. When I'm probing, I don't really want to click on things other than the probe cube(s) near the probe cube(s). It's still a little clunky to handle this when I'm probing near a signal--The signal develops a white "halo" that is almost as big as the probe cube and obscures the probe cube so that I have to grab an arrow handle to drag the cube away before I drag it back over the signal dot. The easiest way to correct this would be a combination of making the signal's click "halo" smaller and the probe cube bigger. There should be a happy medium where approximately 50% of the pixels in the vicinity can be used to drag the probe cube and 50% can be used to double-click "center" the signal.

I have an issue with the "new" old music now. I dunwanna log off, for it to just keep going forever XD
Lost a folder of tracks I extracted from Incarna client (or was it Incursion? I can't remember) so can't get a proper playlist well enough outside of game...

I heard nothing but hate toward the new scanning options and the beta map. It appears that CCP is trying to force out the old and make us use the new map with all it's fancy icons and labels.
I hate it. I know of no pilot who likes it better than the old map.
Please stop trying to fix what was not broken. You can only break it.

Today I log in to find my scanning probe window all changed and labels gone so my sorting doesn't work, and I bring up F10 map and there are no probes on screen when deployed. The probes show up on the F9 map but that map is windowed and does not behave like the old map which can do full screen to replac the entire space graphics.

This plain sucks for us older exploration pilots.

I have survey data and several feedback threads that disagree with the subjective part of the post. The F9 map can be made fullscreen as you like - just use the options in the top right, or double click the system name.

When you do go full screen you do not have access to your game mode so running a site while scanning becomes impossible.

Quick update post following team meeting.

So, after taking the points about Scanning onboard, here are some changes we'll be working toward:

Make signature circles in Solar System Map (SSM) bigger
Make them highlight if probes are over them (more obviously)
One click to get to last custom formation
Show all remaining signatures in the SSM after you ignore one in the Probe Scanner interface
Add visual D-scan toggle to SSM window

And here are some defects we're going to try fixing:

Probe control box not always displaying
Probe scanner width settings not correctly retained
Signature list in Probe Scanning window snaps to top after each scan
Various issues with filters, particularly custom filters
General performance issues (keep those bug reports coming if you have performance issues - no multiple reports though from same computer please)
D-Scan Overview Filters overhang bounding box
Probe scanner interface not snappable to other windows
Structure and Scan results are displayed inconsistently.

Please note - this is not an exhaustive list! There are other issues that have been raised in this thread that we are researching more, or waiting to get more feedback on before committing to an action plan. For instance, there have been a lot of remarks about the scan progress lines, the color of the D-scan sphere, and such. These will be iterated on over time, so don't expect fast changes to them. The HUD showing through the Solar System map is something we'll have to put more time into investigating too - don't think that because it's missing from the above list that we've dismissed it or forgotten about it.

I hope these changes show you effectively that we are committed to iteration and we still want your constructive, well explained feedback!

I guess I am missing the whole point of doing this 'upgrade' to the scanning/probing windows, tools, looks, etc.
What was the issue with the way it has been working that prompted any changes to it?
It was made incredibly too easy for everyone to utilize. It was nearly brainless as it was.
What is the desired outcome from messing with this mechanic of the game?
I honestly would like to see it go back to training to 8 probes and training to improve scan time, strength, etc.

Also posted in the patch issues thread and in issues and workarounds. Having similar issues since patch. Modules not responding and rewinding. After almost dying because of it more than once I'm getting afraid to even try combat till it gets sorted out.

As far as the new dscan/probe scan goes, I'm extremely happy with the dscan it should've been like that sooner even, however the new probe scan doesnt provide any better feature and just makes things more complicated and slower to scan.

Would it be possible to choose to only opt in for the new Dscan and disable the new probe scan?
NB. I have disabled the new map too.

A wonderful bug happened to me. I want this feature!

I had just logged in, was deposited in jump range of a gate. After a few minutes sitting there, I clicked to jump through the gate. The screen froze for 3-5 seconds... and then neatly un-froze in the new system. No transitional gate jump animation. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL.

Thank you to Brain in a Box - Team Gridlock for the hard work over the past couple years, that may see an end to the need for a gate-jump animation!

Random lag spike happened, and it's happening a lot to the point of me getting really frustrated. But HEY!!!!! At least more people can be in Jita, like anyone cares.

Why oh why CCP must you mess with things that aren't broken?

The anomaly list used to have a solid green background over each individual anom. Now the background had been changed to black with two green bars at the top and bottom. Looks horrible! Please undo that change!

Camera Bobbing issue:

The Camera bobbing setting only works for in-space ships. However, when you are in station, the camera still bobs.

Being connected via Remote Desktop a lot means that Camera Bobbing while docked up eats a lot of resources. It would be awesome if the camera bobbing setting also worked for docked up ships!

I'm getting ghosts in the overview. When a ship or whatever goes out of range in the overview then the screen should refresh. However, the text denoting the object simply turns from white to grey. While warping through the system it is possible to have half the overview full of grey ghost ships that may well be docked or have warped to another system. The distance measurement is not updating either. When you arrive in a new system the ghosts are exorcised and you start acquiring new ghosts as they come into range.

Any word on the command node regeneration implementation? Is this current bullshit really the way it was supposed to work? Nodes start with extra time for the defender immediately?
