Simple idea, probably horribly hard to make:

Allow us to save and manage routes.

When making a trip visiting a few trade hubs I have to set destination to each and everyone of them every single time.
A nice option to "load" in a set route visiting multiple waypoints would be very convenient :)

When hovering over a damaged module an extra spot for the amount of nanite paste it will use to repair.

For solo pilots. An adjustable proximity alerrt. When a ship comes within the range selected you are alerted by sound and a coloured bracket on the offending ship. Possibly even a high slot active module as a proximity sensor.

Alternatively for non solo pilots it could work with a filter. Filter out your friendly ship hull types.

It would need to be a reactivated module every cycle. 30 or 60 seconds. Don't want people afking with it

Suggestion: Separate Gas Clouds from the remaining graphical effects toggled in the "Effects" Display Settings

Note:

This was mentioned on Reddit today, and I thought I'd help by creating a FE request.

The "Effects" toggle allows us to disable gas clouds cause FPS issues with lower grade graphics cards. This has been a problem for a long time.

The problem is this also disables essential intel we can get from looking at ships, such as active shield/armor hardeners and repair animations. Being able to completely disable gas clouds for performance without removing other effects has been requested for a while.

Many of these gas clouds have been removed from PvE areas, or are being refactored to address the performance issues, however there are still many of them in DED sites.

Please see the dev posts in this thread from 2013 for more detail on why this is so important.

The Ability to log off back to the Character log in screen without having to completely shut down and launch the client again to switch characters.

The removing of the contact list limit would be one of the things that would make our life as NRDS players (Provi-Bloc yay!) a bit more bearable. When playing NRDS you really need to manage corp- and alliance wide contacts in order to keep tabs on who's blue, and who's most definitely not. This is quite a lot of work, but we do love our principles.

The contact limit does throw a wrench in the works by limiting the number of entities you can set standings to. When an alliance for which you have standings set fractures and you suddenly have to manage the splinters separately...you aren't happy. And you possibly end up with a lot of problems with people shooting the wrong people in the face. Or (also not good) not shooting the right people in the face.

So this is a bit of a thing for us. I spoke to CCP Fozzie at Evesterdam yesterday (that was awesome) and he thought this was something pretty minor that could be fixed really easily. (But then again, you never know for sure until you try to change it, of course).

Yesterday at EVEsterdam CCP FoxFour showed us a few things.
Amongst others was the ability to use a command from a website to push a route to a client.
Looking at it i think this will be a great help for you.

I unfortunately do not remember the ETA on that function.

Suggestion: Introduce modules to increase the access level and success chance of salvaging.

Notes:

Because of the introduction of the Mobile Tractor Unit, the need to tractor in many wrecks isn't as important, reducing the popularity of the Noctis. Many sites can be salvaged with just a Destroyer refitted with Small Salvage Tackle rigs. This increases the access chance to be able to salvage T2 salvage and Large Sleeper wrecks. This works reasonably well when you have the ability to switch ships, such as Nullsec or a wormhole residence.

With the introduction of the Small Shattered wormholes, and Astero and Stratios for long term exploration, the intention seems to be for you to take one ship into deep space, and stay there for a long period of time, without access to change ships.

Having modules you can equip via a Mobile Depot to increase salvaging chance would allow you use to Salvaging Drones on wrecks that currently there is no way to successfully salvage. As well, as T3 Destroyer in a Small Shattered Wormhole would be able to refit Salvagers in the highslots and these modules, to more quickly salvage from Sleeper sites. These ships would typically not want to destroy rigs to swap in/out while in deep space.

The Noctis and Primae could probably both be repurposed for other roles, although there are probably niche cases where the Noctis is still preferred for combat salvaging, such as C5/C6 Capital Escalations. The Primae is completely obsolete from the introduction of the Epithal.

We already have the skyboxes for the other races and they look really good, so having Thera's would be pretty awesome.

Suggestion: Include the ability to block a person when setting a contact for them, in addition to the "Add to Watchlist" and "Send Notification" checkbox options.

When blocking people, I've often found that I also want to set standings for them, as well as adding a tag ("Spammer", "Flamer", "Willfully Ignorant" and the like) to remind myself why I blocked them so I don't ever unblock them.

While it isn't exactly a difficult task to simply add their contact details and then do a second quick right-click > block, it would be nice to be able to add the block from the same window as the contact. Ideally, this info would also be relayed if you chose to send a notification.

Allow you to drag Alliance names from for instance the War targets list (or when an alliance name is linked) into your standings list.

I know this would help a lot of merc alliances who do wardecs etc. cuz constantly adding alliance with typing etc. is such a pain

In the missions list window, could you please add 2 more columns, one for the agent base/station and one for the mission's system? The agent's name doesn't really say much about his/her location for example, unless you click and read more. It would be really nice to see those at a glance and save some clicks.

Move downtime notification prompt to pop-up notifications (those that also gather mails etc.)

Currently the downtime notification blocks screen input until clicked away. Please move that to the less intrusive notifications that can get dragged around.

An option to open external URL links in the system default browser instead of the in-game one. It's super annoying having to always right-click, copy url, alt-tab and paste.
