Sorry if CCP are looking out for the welfare of their employees by feeding them and making sure they're not going hungry when they've been working 9 hours solid on a severe technical issue.



Don't let the blather get to you, CCP FALCON. Take care of your devs, feed them and give them frequent breaks to restore their energy. It will result in a faster fix.

Hope CCP didn't buy into this agile approach hoax hype. Agile is not for the big, most complex systems! It works for a while and then it all falls apart.


Agile is a form of development execution, not a deployment or infrastructure model. We are assuming code changes with the new version are the culprit. It could literally be anything from bare metal up.

The question is, when a rollback need to be done, before it starts to be impossible. Would you like to have it after 24, 48 or more hours? I learned a system must run again after 2! hours, otherwise rollback. Everything else is desperation or maybe political.

Just don't mind those pll without patience. Sometimes the sh*t hits the fan and things not going as planned. I'm okay with it, others should too. What is concerning me is more like the food. Pizza is very bad, when ppl under pressure overworking. Shocked There is no real body and mind boosting nutrients in it. (I love pizza anyway) Order sushi for the devs. Big smile Do not hurry with eating and drink a big cup of coffee/tea. Take a walk, move a bit and after continue the work well refreshed. Cool

As you’re all aware, Tranquility is still offline after today’s scheduled daily downtime.

This is due to an issue with a code deployment today while patching for a few fixes in EVE Online. The issue caused the cluster to fail to start up correctly, and as such, Tranquility is currently unavailable for play for both EVE and DUST.

Our operations and development team are working on this issue as we speak, and we’re hoping to have Tranquility back online for you guys as soon as possible.

Right now, we don’t have an ETA for when the cluster will be back online and accepting connections, but we’ll keep you updated in this thread.
