Someone in my bloodlines corp called shenanigans on me the other day when I was regaling them with the story of how before I ever played eve I would look through the old fan art/screen shots section of the old eve-o site. And found a screen shot of some guys pos where he built a sphere of warp bubbles around it and mined the crap out of the area. By the time I started playing mines were not a thing.

There was a contract up in Jita a few months ago selling a Mine BP for a massive sum. Was a nostalgic moment for me.

In the age of the portable structures they need to bring back mines, they just need to set parameters were they can't be at place too close together and their damage must be limited and not installed death.

They should make a ship called a mine layer with bonuses to deploying mines faster than normal ships and has increased cargo while fewer mid and high slots too. Maybe like a T2 Bantam, etc!
