You know there is a huge buzz in PS3 FPS fanbase about this game?

Few big clans from MW and BF said they are coming to dust.

Soooo, all I'm saying is: dont be so pesimistic about it.

I really hope that's the case. I don't want this to fail, despite my inability to play it.

It's a big thing, and a bold project. I don't know how D514's community or other ones feel as when it was announced exclusively to PS3 I simply dropped interest, and have hardly paid it any mind until now.

It won't. Dust is Eve for consoles gamers and everything that entails. Interpret that how you like and remember.

Got a ps3 in anticipation for the game. all ive got is assassins creed atm so geting into the beta would be SWEET :DBig smile

I signed up for the beta.
Definitely bought a PS3 earlier this year in anticipation of DUST514 so I hope I get into the beta.

Will we need a PS+ subscription for the beta? I'll get one, but wondering if it will be required.

Time to brush up my kb+m skills and see how they can be applied to a console controller (yikesShocked). Doom - Counter-strike - Half-Life - Left 4 Dead, and next Dust514? Can't wait.

if i receive beta invite then will sub on playstation plus with pleasure :)

But does this wave of beta will come early next year or we will have to wait Fanfest ?

(registered for planetside 2 too in case..., but if i got the 2 beta (let's dream) for sure will only go DUST even if i player planetside 2 for 6 years....)

Can we please get some clarification from developers on whether the PSN Network subscription stuff is required for eligibility for the Dust 514 Beta??

There are lots of us who have PS3's on our christmas lists and don't have accounts yet, but are loyal longterm eve players who don't want to be penalized in our chance at the Beta because we haven't set up a Playstation network account yet.

if we want to have the best chance at receiving a Beta invite, should we wait till we have accounts??

Please CCP, give us a fair chance at the Beta - the community needs clarification on whether this impacts our chances of selection.

QFT. Dust 514 will quickly gain a reputation amongst l337 gamers as being one of the most hardcore shooters around - adult FPS fans who are tired of the arcade feel of 5-minute matches and unlimited respawns will embrace something as challenging and deep as Dust 514.

Most of us are sick and tired of Halo #11 and Call of Duty #17 and desperate for something more.

To all those saying EvE players don't give a **** about consoles - speak for yourself. Those kind of us vs. them stereotyping is stupid and just smacks of an inflated sense of "nerd superiority" i.e. "my geeky hobby is way cooler than your geeky hobby"

Grow up. There are a lot of great games on consoles, and most of us who play eve play consoles too. Also, stop whining about the money - a PS3 costs less than most of you spent on your video cards alone. Those that want it bad enough can find it in their budgets. Stop buying video cards at outrageous prices the month they hit the market and you'll save those $200 in the normal price drop technology goes through as time passes.
