I believe as our newly renovated meeting place is now open we should take a moment for a opening prayer.

Even if you do not see the light of God in your life I am sure you can understand the sentiment and will show respect.

O' Lord of Mercy and Kindness;

We thank you for you for the new day and opportunity you have brought forward to us. May we all share in this place of understanding to truly hear what we have to say. Let our minds not be clouded with hate but be granted the ability to respect each other. Grant us your strength to hold true to our holy callings and stand together against the coming darkness.

Amen.

If anyone else would like to add, please do not hesitate... There is no wrong way to pray.

Pilot, this is needless. While I do not believe certain parts of the Scripture, I still hold that God is not a vengeful god and he does not wish to see his children fighting each other with such indignance and hatred. Do it to free your people if you must, and if all diplomacy fails, but don't do it out of hatred, that is not His way, and if you turn your back on Him so blatantly, He will not bless you.

This is an ancient sentiment among those who believe Terran theory. While it is still to be considered a legend and nobody can know for sure whether this was actually a prayer of the Terrans (if they existed), I hope it brings you peace.
