I don't know if it's old or anything, sorry if it is, but I just realized that Instrumental Core Reservoir now spawn 4 Battleships instead of 2. I never heard of that change (was it documented? I thought WH space was left alone in Crucible?) and it was quite an unpleasant surprise on first encounter.

Different Giant Secure Container windows still open on top of each other on the spot where the last one was, instead of where I left them. No change if they're pinned or not or if the option to lock windows is on or not. Makes doing PI a more pita than it ever was before Crucible.

I'm willing to believe this will be fixed eventually and I'm anxiously waiting to have to arrange all of my other windows when that happens.

THANK YOU! Keep up the good work.

I know sometimes it's difficult to realize just how much you spend on incidental things each month or year, but seriously, EVE is very cheap entertainment compared to most things... If you are a smoker, smoke one less pack a week and pay for EVE, with money left over to pick up a cheap bundle of flowers for the EVE widow upstairs.

The resetting of windows is a *****, but ill get over that.

I am however still wondering when i can have an open corp hangar and cargohold window on login?

I will admit that i was a little annoyed when i discovered everything the way it comes out of the box, but then i discovered something.
I DON'T CARE
The pin window function now works as intended, gone are the days of windows deciding that the're going to randomly move on you.
The personal locations no longer automaticly folder themselves when you have 5+BM's. I Love you again CCP.
The pos's fitting service is now functioning better than it has been.

My personal recomendation is you delete everyone who is only concerned with window positions, i know it's inconvienent, but it doesn't appear that they're looking at the bigger issue. YOU FIXED THE PROBLEMS!!

These changes...fixes, reversions to previous ways, whatever you want to call them are amazing, and the rest of the patch looks good too, although not many of those issues i had been experiencing.

THANK YOU,
Developers, GM's and everyone involved in the design process.
You're doing a fantastic job, I for one greatly appriciate it.

We still need those 2 options split out. There are times when I want a window to be locked in position, but not transparent, and vice-versa.

We need a "make transparent" button and a "lock in place" button for our windows, not a single button that attempts to do both.

Also - if I shift-move a window, it should *not* move locked windows that it happens to be adjacent to. The whole point of "lock" is that those windows stay locked to their current relationship with the closest two screen edges (or the closest screen corner to any of the four window corners).

Dear CCP!

For the love of heaven and after 8 years of game developing could you please hire a programmer WHO CAN CODE WITHOUT MAKING PLAYERS REORGANIZE THOSE F*****G WINDOWS EVERY F*****G TIME YOU MAKE ANY F*****G PATCH!!! EvilEvilEvilEvilEvil

Thank you.

Yeah, those 30sec you need to reorganize them should be reimbursed to you as you could have mined 30 units of Veld in that time Roll

Good job CCP, special thanks for fixing the major lag when refitted in space.

Given CCP's past history, you certainly are extremely optimistic here.

Patch corrupted install, so had to run repair. Then...

YOU RESET ALL MY WINDOWS AGAIN!

I mean for gods sake, is it really all that difficult to work out how to save them?

Every single bit of good will you've got from fixing all the bugs has just been undone in an instant. I work in IT and I know full well that user perception is everything. It's time you learnt that lesson too.

I'm grateful that some of the worst bugs introduced in crucible got fixed.

I don't care about repositioning the windows after a patch. That's minor annoyance. I love that the windows are character specific though I understand why some people would disagree (this should be option or at least easily transferrable from char-to-char).

What I do care about is that when doing pi I have to open and reposition all 9 of my cargo containers (they used to open nicely next to each other just the way they were when they closed, now they open on top of each other so that only the top one can be accessed) 5 times (since they still close after jumping, undocking, docking etc.). Thats 45 open-repositions per day (actually 90 since I do it on two accounts). This I didn't have to do before the crucible (just had to open them). If this is how the pin window is intended to work (pin-locking them just means they open like this and I can't move them) I have to agree that CCP should really hire some usability experts to take their ui programmers' heads out of their dark holes.

Mahhhh! This is patchy again! I think they should sell custom patches to the crowed instand of Plex...would be more profit to CCP..... If your ship flyes backwards again , dont be sad, just clear cache. Why is the sun flashing and blinking as hell if you got a view to it by some angle? Big smile

Eve has problems installing patch on my IMac. Every time I try to install it i get this

Examining File : /Contents/Resources/transgaming/c_drive/Program Files/CCP/EVE/resShaders.stuff -> SHA1 Error

I've tried downloading the patch through the game browser and also from the website.

I don't want to reinstall the entire client again.

thanks a lot ccp for repairing the pin/unpin windows function! finally!!

removing this with crucithingi was the biggest mistake in my opinion....
beside the new ugly font, beside the new planet taxes, beside the new useless ships, beside...

and thanks for fixing this bug!

The quality of life changes Crucible has brought are fabulous. No longer are we fiddling with lots of little options here and there, or waiting for ages when we could be flying spaceships. Except when you kill window placement again.

I log in wanting to play the game, but realise instead I've got to spend a few minutes putting every window back in place, and knowing that I won't be able to do all of them. Different ships' cargo holds will be reset, wrecks will be reset, containers will be reset, that one option in the menu I rarely use will be reset. This is another week of minor, petty frustrations that will keep on nagging at me.

If you can't work out how to save window positions whilst making whatever changes needed to be made, can you at least, please, introduce some sane default positions? Having just about every single window open on top of your damned ship, the central, focal point of the game, obstructing your view of what you are here to enjoy, is an incredibly poor design decision. However much windows are resized, I can bet that pretty much all of them will be moved to one side or another, so that we can see our damned ship at least.

Now, shall I take the time to reposition my windows, or will the next minor patch force me to do it again?
