Yes, it probably does. We are going to look at this tomorrow to try and make this easier.

Make it so you can only change stations if your clone is currently an Alpha clone, but you can only upgrade your clone if you're currently in the station with it. A new character, still in their Alpha clone, could jump into nulsec without difficulty (or anywhere, for that matter), but an older character will either have to sacrifice some SP, or will have to hoof it the long way.

Talk is cheap, but Void S and Quake L are cheaper.

I agree, making the dullest part of the game more awful doesn't seem a good idea.

This will stagnate null more than now because you will need to be blue for an uninterrupted span from empire all the way to the outer edge. At least now you can skip a region.

CCP needs to un frack JF when they come down off their peyote trip.

I personally enjoyed my time in gsol. I would gladly return if asked. :)

They are about to change the GSOL reward from PLEX to amphetamine once the changes go through - so now's the time to sign up.

Congratulations CCP, you have outdone yourself. Thing is the biggest pile **** you have ever put together. F*****g over every last person in nullsec, from subcap to supercaps.

That penalizes people for training skills, the exact opposite of what CCP did when lowering clone upgrade costs.

Goodbye game as I've known it, never found a reason to quit until now, but well done, you've started my mind towards unsubbing now.

Way to go to make capitals completely unusable, way to go in making shipping goods to Null sec virtually impossible, and who the hell will play an end game where its very hard to play.

On the other hand the rise of the nano Nidhoggur will be funny as anything

PS Good luck making a video on null life after this.

A major goal of this change is to make you not take your supercap that sort of distance on a regular basis. If the changes are making you say "OK, I'm never taking my super long distances ever again", that means they're actually working.

So why for the love of god are things that ARENT SUPERCAPS being affected!?

Am i the only one that thought of the ice miners?

If your going to recude the jump capability the way your suggesting ... then capital jumps in its whole will be reduced to an ultimate low.

In your previous NERF to jump fuel cost you meantioned doing this to help the ice miners.
I can only image this will actually KILL ice mining to the max.

Also wanna meantion this thing: Anyone wanna buy some carriers? .. i apearenly gonna have some spares in a few weeks.

If you want to limit force projection reduce the number of ships that can cyno.

It's as simple as that.

Specialised ships for carriers, titans and supercarriers. One ship for all i care. That's one way to stop force projection. It doesn't require jump fatigue and a highly complicated system that this is.

Haven't had time to read all 34 pages to see if anyone has already brought this up:

If this change goes in, please make jump-cloning incur jump fatigue at some (likely greatly reduced) level.

The goal: to prevent super-large, super-rich alliances from just building caches of capitals/supers at various NPC 0.0 or low-sec staging points around the galaxy, and just getting to them by jump-cloning (and in so doing, avoiding jump fatigue).

Jump cloning is not a thing we want to touch more than we can help at this point, it's a larger topic.

Yes, caching is going to be something of a thing, but the amount of caches you need to get good coverage of the bulk of the cluster is large (somewhere on the order of 1 per region), and the effort involved in restocking them is distinctly non-trivial.

Surely letting you set the clone in a low/nullsec station you're currently in OR set it to a hisec station would suffice so even if you're caught in a station after a year's hiatus, you can still get out of there and rebuild somehow, while not being able to get back or strategically deathclone everywhere.

No. This is exactly what you want to incentivize. If a coalition wants to jump in a large fleet, you want them to have to send in an expeditionary fleet first, which is more vulnerable than just a single cyno.

-Increase fitting/fuel requirements of cynos so insta-warp interceptors cannot fit/use them.
-Get rid of jump fatigue and add jump disruption: For 1 minute after jumping through a non-cov-ops cyno, a ship cannot warp and cannot cloak. For 10 minutes after jumping through a cyno, a ship cannot light another cyno.
-Do not allow cloaks and non-cov-ops cynos to be equipped to the same ship.

Now you have means for small-gangs of players to attack power projection, and who cares about cyno alts.
