Totally!

I just started playing and this game could look SO much better.

It wouldn't even affect balance. I can play it on potato settings to no detriment.

But a lot of people are PC gamers. We want our spaceships to look pretty!!

(Today I also noticed the missile launcher reload animation, I get a bit giddy over small things like that)

posting on a friends account. I refuse to re-sub to Eve Online until CCP releases the updated texture pack. I know I'm not the only one either. CCP if you read this, you are losing potential subscribers because of this What?

I don't see how the 'fix what's broken in EVE' sentiment is compatible with asking for high res textures.
