Loot taken from wrecks by dragging to cargo button or using the 'loot all' button should stack automatically. If it does not need to be repackaged theres no reason to have them each enter their own stack. It just creates a big ol' mission junk mess, and you have to constantly right click stack all... all the time.

Also, In general stacking needs work.

The whole process of repackaging, splitting and stacking is one of the most tedious and redundant inhibitors of fluent gameplay immersion. If its not damaged, why not automatically repackage? Better yet, throw out repackaging and create a 'damaged' label that will prevent items from being sold or automatically stacked until the item is repaired.

This label can also be a helpful reminder when players look at the fitting window, and notice that they forgot to repair after their last battle and some things are still damaged.

Plus: Please change the message window for splitting stacks (shift +drag) already... It says everytime "There is not enough room!" when all I want to do is ensure I dont take too many missiles with me on my mission.

When you have several targets selected and kill current target, action window with "Approach", "Orbit" etc buttons should automatically reconfigure for the next target in the list instead of just disabling all keys.

I like the name change idea - however one thing I think should be added to prevent abuse is make it so that name history is visible and if the old name is searched for the new character is found. Kind of like mail forwarding in space Cool

Yep I have heard that history idea before and it's a great idea...


Also: There are just so many many excellent suggestions in this thread, simply excellent...

It would be nice to be able to see your own drones speed and distance on the Drones menus (rather than needing to put them on the overview)

And on the overview itself. It would be nice to have the objects speed displayed under the distance (its more conviently seen rather than in the columns)

Id like to see loot and salvage drones. They would work just like mining drones but on wrecks. You would need t2 loot and salvage drones to salvage commander wrecks.

I think this would solve all my complaining about the drone regions and why its harder to make Isk there apposed to bounty space.

So its both a little thing, and a huge solution to a common problem

Bookmarks visible as "beacons" of sorts on the overview.

Bookmarks once again showing distance in AU from my ship in solar system map.

Fitting slot adapters: To make low slot items fit in high slots, mid slots items fit in low slots ect. excluding things like fitting turrets, launchers, smartbombs, probe launchers, interdiction modules, shield/armor/cap transfers or gang links to anything but your high slots. There could also be launcher hardpoint to turret hardpoint adapters or an adapter that simply adds a turret or launcher hardpoint to ships that have utility high slots to spare. To balance it out you could either make these adapters use quite a bit of fitting space or make them reduce the effectiveness of whatever module is plugged into them.


Proximity alarm: alarm will sound when another ship comes within a player-defined distance of your own.

In orbit: while this function could be made infinitely better I'd be completely content if my ship didn't basically stop and do a 180 degree turn every time my speed is changed either manually or by a web hitting me. Try orbiting and manually setting different speeds and watch in amazement as your ship tries to tear itself apart instead of just keeping the same flight path and only adjusting it's speed. It's even worse when you get webbed and your ship actually nearly comes to a complete stop to do this 180 maneuver giving your pursuer a chance to drastically gain ground on you.

Chats: please for the love of all that is holy let me once again order my chat tabs the way I want them to be, and let them stay that way after I log and log back in. In fact make that for all stacked windows, as it is now stacked windows get sorted alphabetically each time you log on and for some windows (overview) that disappear when docked any windows you have stacked with them get resorted upon un-docking.

Window resizing: before the crucible patch, windows that were docked on the bottom of the screen could be resized downwards. What I mean is right now if you double click on the title bar of any window it will reduce itself to the size of the title bar, used to be if the bottom portion of a window was docked at the bottom of the screen the window would reduce itself down to title bar size at the bottom of the screen, now however windows docked at the bottom of the screen resize up to the title bar. pics to illustrate since it's not easy to explain:

Solar system map: Make it so bookmarks don't go nearly invisible after scan probes are launched, pre-dominion bookmarks on the solar system map stayed 100% opaque at all times making scanning to see the new signature of a bookmark after down time less of a "where's waldo" kind of event.
Make it so beacons from signatures and wormholes you've recently warped to don't occlude/obscure/totally get in the way of the bookmark for that signature making it impossible to read what the bookmark says/click on the bookmark/interact with the bookmark in any way shape or form. Make it so the labels on signatures/wormholes ect. that you've warped to (the "unstable wormhole" label thing) doesn't keep you from seeing scan results/ clicking on probes/ clicking on bookmarks ect. and make them so such labels can be turned off along with wormhole beacons.

Wormholes: make it so there is only just the wormhole on the grid and not the wormhole + the "cosmic signature" for that wormhole. Sometimes upon trying to warp away from a wormhole you can't cloak up because you're too close to the "cosmic signature"
If removing this invisible undetectable on-grid object is impossible then simply make it something that cannot uncloak your ship/keep your ship from cloaking.


Mobile warp disruptors and anchorable containers: make them as easy to anchor where you want them as POS structures


Decloaking: some sort of anchorable small objects that can be arranged in the same way POS structures can be so as for precise placement at strategic points to decloak stealth ships. These should be cheap but fairly heavy so gangs can't drop tons of them to create lag. They should be able to be anchored at least 2500 meters from one another and should be allowed up to 10-15 deployed per pilot. They should also be super easy to destroy.


Salvaging: A small, really fast, really agile frigate class ship for the sole purpose of salvaging in unknown space. This ship should have no other viable use other than salvaging, it should be really fast (around 2000m/s with AB) have a decent sized cargo hold (at least 200m^3) and have a longer than average targeting range so warp core stabilizers won't be so much of a problem (2+ wcs) or could have a bonus towards the reduction of wcs penalties. Ideal slot layout would be 4 high / 3 mid / 3 low. Only reason I suggest such a ship is because I use a vigil for w-space salvage since salvage is so light, three salvagers in the highs and three warp core stabs, the only flaw of the ship is that to be efficient in any waysince it has no tractors it has to be flying ~2000m/s, this means a MWD and that means bombs are a deadly threat. A ship that can fly ~2000m/s with an AB would be perfect to at least avoid taking a deadly hit from a bomb. Would be nice if said ship had a bonus to salvaging chance of success or cycle rate but even without one as long as it had three rig slots for salvage tackles it would be perfect.

easy one. make the show info 3d preview picture show the right color background for the race of the item. this is most obvious in ship and drones.

example:

Warrior II drone shows up in a target overview with a red minmatar background. On the market the icon has a red minmatar background. In the show info screen it has a red minmatar background.... but... if you click on the picture in the show info screen to get a preview 3d picture of the object (zoom/rotate), it renders with a blue caldari background.

same for all ships and drones that I tried. all show the 3d picture in the caldari blue background. me no likey.

1) Fix item descriptions so they all follow a unified format. That would be very nice.


2) Fix the sticky outy bit on the right side of the thorax model so that it looks like a part of the hull rather then a plank they straped on just to support the guns.


3) Fix the cloking effect so that it looks like it did in trinity.


4) Give us the ability to warp to co-ordinates of our choosing (with limitations).


5) Give yourselves a brake, have a nice cuppa and a sit down. Only joking, back to work you lot.

Dear CCP Soundwave,

I resubbed to EVE after a 1-year break and rerolled this new toon, just to find out that you performed a change that has left me pretty puzzled.

Previously I was able to reset the Overview settings (to their most native state) in such a manner as to allow the display of targets in the Overview list in the order in which they appeared (e. g. newer mission rat spawns always appeared at the bottom; destroying 1 target created a wreck right at the bottom of the list etc.). I am pretty sure you know what I am talking about.

At the moment however I find myself forced to sort objects by either one of the columns (icon, distnace, name, type etc.). This change is so stupid that I find myself unable to formulate a proper insult to the moron that came up with this idea.

I hate how we can't change our character's muscularity or weight when we recustomize. A guy/girl can workout in RL right? Get breast/calve implants in RL? Why can't we alter the body shapes when we recustomize?

I'ld even pay a several million isk fee if that's what it took.

Chat channels should have an option to allow based on standings rather than password or a list. That way I don't have to add 50 corps and 50 personal people to my allowed list and then add and remove allowed as the standings list change or have a password that can get leaked. I just need to set to blue status and anyone who is blue can join, anyone not blue can not join.

Sort the saved fittings list alphabetically
Allow us to select a container to dump/exchange modules for fittings window, instead of just the main station items hangar.
Update drone statistics on deployed drones. Optimal, falloff, damages, etc. I'd like to know how effective they truly are, and at what ranges for t2 sentries deployed.

I love the new route thingy on the top left of the screen, but it would be great if we had the option to remove the constellation names from it, I don't really see the point of having them there as most people don't really need to know what constellation they're currently in and it's a little bit of information overload tbh, just a readout of the system and region would be awesome. Smile

Expanding the functionality of the bookmarks window by adding an 'align to' and a 'warp to' button, and possibly a 'delete bookmark' option as well [the delete button should be set away from the other buttons]

This would reduce the effort of wading through right click menu's

The 'add location' button is great, since you can easily access it on the fly

'Create folder' - not so necessary as a button [could be a right click option as it is not an option that one uses all the time]

I could be mistaken, but I believe I remember that you can already do this by right clicking on the blank space on the neocom between the last button and the clock/calendar and there should be some relevant settings in that context menu somewheres. Good luck!

I wont look through 68 pages - thats your job - but here's my ideas:

I want different effects on my ship when enemy lasers/rockets/whatever hit the shield and armor. Some barrier like the one using a shield booster should appear when something crashes into the shield.

I want to be able to fly my ship in a precise way. A Doubleclick is NOT precise. Optimal solution would be some optional WASD or Joystick controls. Another way would be setting destination coordinates right into space like you do with scan probes (but a little more comfortable and faster).

Some big things, cause big things are big:

Physics and moar realism! I want gravity, moving solar systems, ships crushing into suns when stupidly warping through them (this would be fun^^). I want to get rid of this stupid Idea of maximum speed in Space. Just change m/s to m/s² and everythings fine. Solar Systems are quite big - use the Space! I want to get my mighty Battleship in the way of gunfire to protect a smaller ship. I want friendly fire and I want to use fleet formations. Those "Blobs" just look extremely stupid. I also want flak cannons on big ships to get rid of small **** like drones and dramiels. Making ultra expensive Battleships totally vulnerable to ultra cheap ships does not sound like a realistic development (think out of the proportions of mega-rich pod pilots). Of course there should be something to counter stuff like that and this is where my last point comes in: The possibility for smaller ships to attack subsystems of greater ships directly - not only modules fitted on that ship but also stuff like communications (chat windows goodbye) or sensors (goodbye overview).

I want a lot and I'm sure I get it sooner or later because sooner or later you'll run out of other ideas :)
