These are good changes. Too many times I had to bailout of a medium because the rat spawned. I also went in medium to 1v1 only to have the rat contribute significant damage :p

There can be no dial back, the entire point is so people cannot flip a homesystem before a defence can be mounted. Only difference now is that the donkey work has to be done by non farmers. The recent action across the warzone shows this is working well.

i dont like how CCP has frozen the pendulum.....no more swing in occupancy rates....~25% increase in time needed to run an offensive plex, making PLEX LP even more useless compared to L4-******* missions...and Crosi, every home system that "needs to mount a defence" is not really a home system.....

Going by the mentioned 143 plexes to flip then it takes one full day, ie. 24 hrs, to complete the plexes and that is without taking into account spawn kill pauses, travel time, down time etc. ... just pure timers.

Do you seriously consider a system that has no significant friendly traffic for more than a day at a time a "Home System"?

Not advocating that it be taken all the way back to the horrible 4-5 hrs flip times of yesteryear, but the current high number can easily do with a light trim to bring it in line with changes .. 20-30% should/could be enough to get warzones moving again while still allowing for other-side-of-world-timezones to mount a defense with ample time to spare.

Zones are frozen which is just plain bad so something must be done so militias can thaw them without having to rely on 100+ member null corp/alliance fattening cycles.

Zones only move when folks focused on PvP decide to move them - as it should be.

Want the warzone to move? Not a problem - grab some friends, spend a day or so plexing up a handful of nearby systems, then flip them.

If you're not willing to put forth the organized effort to take space, don't whine about it not moving. Squids manage to flip 8 systems while we were down in Huola, we already took a couple in return.

The warzones are fine atm - just need folks to decide to make a push, and it happens.
