Don't know why. Every time I try, I get the message, "Store cannot be accessed right now." I cleared my cache. Didn't make any difference.

Anyone have any suggestions???

Did you start eve with the launcher or with the .exe file?

If no, try to start eve with the launcher.

EVE store uses the authentication provided by the launcher, as pointed above. I had the same problem because I avoid the launcher when possible.

That explains everything. I haven't used the launcher in over a year. When I last tried to use it, it wouldn't run. I tried updating it and everything, it just wouldn't run. So, I've been using the EXE file ever since. Oh well. Probably nothing there that I want anyway. :)

Well, there are ship skins, but they are getting ever cheaper at the market because people still have lots of free aurum from the giveaways long ago, so, yes.

Well, it must be something else. I finally got the eve launcher to update, I logged in using it, and the New Eden Store is STILL not available. Oh well.

It was ganked.

They had an astonishing lack of bowler hats and lit cigars.

I just couldn't take it a moment longer.

I got told the other way around; using launcher will cause it to fail and should not use it. Can't paste the ticket because reasons.

It doesn't work for me in either case. If I use the launcher, it doesn't work. If I login to EVE using the EXE file, it doesn't work.

Not that I really give a crap. I just wanted to see what was in there. I guess CCP doesn't want my money that badly, or they would have responded to my help ticket already. Then again, it's only been 4 days since I opened it. Roll

I've had the same issue since Kronos and the new store was introduced. I use the launcher exclusively. I have not yet been able to access it.

There was an acknowledgement by CCP in the Kronos issues thread that they know there is a problem and I think they said it was something to do with the launcher, in some cases, not providing the required authentication.

Just out of interest what are your graphics settings at? Mine are all on lowest due to PC being a bit old now and I'd rather have best performance than choppy graphics.

I have the same issue, I use the launcher but cannot access the store.

The solution posted here works for me. I assume this is the post voetius was referring to.

Haven't really felt the need for the store except when it was relaunched and thought I'd have a look so it hasn't really bothered me.

EDIT: I did upgrade my computer over Christmas and added a SSD - now my memory isn't the best but I bet I copied the EVE files over to the new drive without reinstalling so my registry is probably pointing to the wrong place. If I weren't so laz I would look into it and check but everything else works fine so I haven't really anything to motivate me to do so Shocked

I don't use the max settings, but they're up there. My system looks like this.

MSI 760GM-E51 mainboard with
AMD FX-8350 8 core processor running at 4.2 GHZ
16GB of DDR3 RAM @ 800 MHZ
AMD Radeon HD7700 GPU w 2GB of DDR3 RAM @ 800mhz

I think it's about 1.5 years old, with a 2 TB hard drive.

Runs smooth for me, as long as I'm not running more that 3 clients at a time.

Besides, if its worth having, its made it to the market by now anyway

There are lots of clothes worth having and none on the market.

It's more likely that most people keep their stuff because they want to keep it,
with a few people speculating and only a few others who want to get rid of their stuff.

The situation on the market is horrible ... and I'm glad I got a few items that aren't on the NES anymore,
and only return when I banked on them xD

That ringing in your ears you're experiencing right now is the last gasping breathe of a dying inner ear as it got thoroughly PULVERISED by the point roaring over your head at supersonic speeds. - Tippia

Well, I'm glad to hear it's working for someone. Smile

I guess I'll just have to not worry about it. Again, probably nothing there that I really want. Still, it would have been nice to at least be able to look.
