  1. Multiple item images are missing.
  2. The menu items are not working.
  3. The menu item texts are not descriptive enough.
  4. The banners in the shop have a "order=xx" tooltip instead of something human readable.
  5. Clicking on the banners in the shop leads to the wrong detail window.
  6. There is no close button on the detail window.
  7. Buying things leaks memory like a sieve, eventually leading to crashing or stuck detail windows.
  8. Buying an item is way too slow.
  9. After buying an item there is no indication how to proceed with the detail window still open, clicking anywhere will then minimise the detail window to the Redeem bar, which makes no sense.
  10. You can't buy multiple items at once.
  11. There is no confirmation dialogue when buying.
  12. The shop window should not be fullscreen, this hides all the potentially important other windows like chat.
  13. Everything is way too big.
  14. The loupe button is on the wrong side of the search bar and closer to the "Amarr" button than the actual input field it should be clearly associated with.
  15. There should be a greyed out hint like "Search for Items" in the search bar when there is no text in it.
  16. There is no clear indications what the "Female" and "Male" links are doing and what the "Name Ascending" etc. drop down menu is doing. There is more than enough horizontal space for some labels!
  17. The Male/Female texts should be buttons or radio buttons instead.
  18. The X button in the upper right is too small.
  19. The UI doesn't fit at all with the rest of the EVE Client user interface.
  20. There are no (interactable) 3D renders of the items.
  21. It is not possible to open a show info window for the items, especially for the blueprints!
  22. Escape should close the Store, arrow keys should navigate between the items.
  23. The store should be wider on a widescreen monitor.
  24. The scrollbars are too small.
  25. Scrollwheel has no function on the left/right borders.
  26. The redeeming thing in the Inventory interface is obnoxious and nonfunctional.

I was able to purchase but when I went to my Inventory to redeem, the icons don't select or drag and drop into my hangar floor.

Also sad I missed the bonus window, the patch took a long time to download and install. :-(

Whoever is deciding the price points for the ship skins really needs to get in touch with reality.

This.

I would hardly call most of the items "microtransactions".

YaaaY new store :)

Good first stab at this

Some of these have been reported already :

A - When you open up and item - it is not intuitive to click outside the item to close it - having that "X" in the top corner would be helpful

B - I agree with some other feedback that the items in the main list are too big - maybe shrink them a bit so more fit on the screen at one time and expand them to a larger image once they have been selected for additional details/purchase.

C - None of the headers appear to be working for me - so I click on "MALE" and the same list of ships and stuff is still there - same with all other categories - did not seem to have the desired effect of changing what you are viewing. Though the categories are clear and understandable. I am not sure how you have it set up to sort.
For example when i click Ship Skin - i get the cruiser / frigate / battleship skin options - however when i click on "MALE" right after i still have the same sub list of cruiser / frigate / battleship - only when i click on "apparel" does it actually change.

D - Hot / sale / popular are nice to see - perhaps one of the header items should be "CLEARANCE/SALE items" so that people can go check out just the 'hot' deals

E - There is no right click from the screen - for example i cannot right click the BPC for the ship and see what is required (now i know that it requires a blank hull and will take x amount of time) but i cannot see any details unless i go back into client

F - Not all images loaded properly - I have many blank panels on the screen for items

G - There is no sober second thought pop up on the "PURCHASE" so if you accidentally hit the mouse on it you process a transaction - not a "THIS WILL COST XXXX AUR - proceed? " Also there is no option to buy multiples....without clicking the item over and over....perhaps you should have it pop up "1" cost XXXX - then allow user to change to a multiple.

H - When purchasing - there is a disconnect between buying it and then redeeming it. There is no direct redeem from the store - you have to "ESC" go to "redeem items" or log out and do that. Perhaps having a way to directly redeem from the same screen ?

I - Nobel Exchange Icon still appearing in the client - takes you to the Nex Store - From the Neocom - it takes you correctly to the new store.

J - almost forgot - the scroll bar on the item list is very thin - and when i first tried to use my mouse scroll wheel nothing happened since i was not on top of an image - then i tried to find the scroll bar but it was not very differentiated from the actual view. Since all EvE players are senior citizens now and can barely see - can we make that a tad bit wider and differentiated in color from the overall image list ?

Overall, as i said before this looks promising - can't wait to see the next iteration.

Cheers

said by several already - if you really want us to fly things that cost RL $$ and have them blow up lots of time then make the prices reasonable. Since almost every pvp roam = death nobody is going to invest 5 bucks in a skin that will just be blown up on your next roam.

So CCP you need to decide do we want 10 guys buying that 5$ skin or 100 people buying the $1 skin. Think like the dollar store...people go in there and buy things because they are so damn cheap. You even drop a buck or two on things that you dont need. But once you start talking 5, 10, 20$ then people notice.....and are going to be very leery.

Frigate for example...i would not blink twice blowing up .25cent frigs or .50cent frigs. But make them into something that is the equivalent of a buck or two then why would I fly that special looking one when the regular one does the same thing and will explode the same way?

  • I don't want to see the "Redeem Items" thing all the time
  • You cann't scroll in the endless list
  • It shows the Station the item was put in the redeeming system. But it's somehow counter intuitive, that I'm unable to set the destination there. I know I can just redeem it and then search in my assets (instant after session change* or after up to five minutes) and set the destination.
  • * Most people don't know this

How about integrating the redeeming system in the inventory system? Maybe as a special container (can be enabled and disabled in the inventory settings). If something is available it is shown in every station as long as it is activated. You can even make the inventory look more fancy. There seems to be a system to draw a yellow rectangle in the inventory window for wrecks that you cann't access without penalty. Maybe use that and draw a blue rectangle or something. This way we actually would be able to redeem only one BPC from a 10 pack (by splitting the stack) or quickly (with shift, ctrl or mouse drag) select only those items that we really want. And it could be integrated in the Assets list and marked with a special colour to differentiate it from normal items.
Another one: Show ALL items in redeeming container, but mark the ones that cann't be redeemed in this station. (I don't know if it's even possible to "mark" an item) Smile

It already is, when you open the universal inventory thing from the Neocom it has Redeem Items as a bar on the bottom of the window.

Please, explain me why are they implementing features to the game that I can't reach without spending real money, even when I'm paying 15$/€ every month. Usually, games that have microtransactions are totally free.

Thank you very much.

Bug report:

After successfully converting 100 PLEX into AUR, I accidentally opened the old shop and bought a few ship skins, then build the special edition ships out of them. This worked.

I don't know if it's related, but after I undocked with a special edition ship and attempted to jump through a game, the client crashed.

I got this error message:

Runtime Error!

Abnormal program termination.

Relogging didn't help, I got a second abnormal termination just from warping back to the gate.

-You can buy PLEX to convert into Aurum
-You can buy Aurum-token to convert into Aurum
-You don't have to spend real money

I really like the look of the store! I assume this will supplant the NEX Store entirely at some point.

Quote:
The store will be a place where you the player (as opposed to your characters) will shop.

To me, that indicates it will not be accessible the same way the NEX is currently. The NEX currently operates as a transaction point for you the character rather than the player. I think it would be a mistake to make the store inaccessible while in the current play session. I'd like to see the store accessible from somewhere besides the character selection screen (say I want to get a stabber skin before our roam tonight). I would suggest putting it on the ESC menu screen.

It's also in the Neocom under Business.
