There is a lot of tidbits of news about this but I might as well put it out there.

As far as the strike goes people should be contacting Icelandair about it ASAP. The "General strike" on the 30th with be an INDEFINITE shutdown of the airports, not an ongoing 5 hour morning traffic strike, if it goes through. This means NO flights will be going (or leaving) from iceland until this gets resolved.

Icelandair will not comment on the state of the flights until the morning of the 28th.

Aaaannnnddd.....another day passes without any of the dev blogs promised that outline the additional changes to industry.
It has been a week since the last one, and there are what, 4 to go?

Unless of course, you plan on releasing all the particulars in front of a room of sycophantic null sec players at Fanfest, and then dump the blogs on the forum after that.


Note that this time of year is littered with holidays here in Iceland, which means people haven't been at work for more than a couple of days since last blog went up.

That being said, the other blogs are going into review and should see the light of day soon.

1st. Semi serious question. For us poor bastards who will be working and or should be sleeping during the meat of fanfest. Where, When and are there going to be recordings of the sessions put online somewhere? You guys were excellent with uploading videos for the last NEO quickly.

Will buying the HD stream get me access to recordings faster or better quality?


2nd. Is this whole EVE of Destruction just been a 6-month training program to get Hilmar in better shape? Looks like he lost a bunch of weight in the Fanfest Brochure.

I'm calling this information bull****. Like almost everything else coming from ccp these days they'll cancel fanfest the Day before it starts, tell you all how sorry they are but resources are better spent elsewhere, but here's a picture of a cow, Hope you like it.. ohh and yes, we know you can only see half the cow but we didn't have time or resourses to take a proper picture.

If you're going to be bitter an cynical, at least be realistic. There's too much $ in fanfest, and hilmar loves his $ more than anything. Well, except maybe a bigass statue dedicated to his ego. If anything, this fanfest will be like the last one... no useful info, stealth devblogs about massive nerfs with no dev feedback because *fanfest*, random controversies spawned either by CCP incompetence or corruption. Same old same old.

To ask an obvious question, too - what delicious in-game items do we get with tickets this year? I mean, a shirt obviously, but hopefully another unique ship like previous years..?

Maybe it's blind hope, but hope anyways, that they'll announce DUST for the correct platform.

All posts and mails screencapped and time stamped, including out of EVE, you will not reverse on me.

I'm eager to hear the details too, but it's more fun if a certain fish's buttons get pushed. :)
