Suggestion: Allow routes to be saved and shared.
Keywords: Route, Autopilot
Note: Drag route to fleet chat or notepad to create a link. Right click link -> set route.

---

Pretty much all I do in game is exploration sites. I do the same routes every day. Every day I have to open the map and rightclick a ton of systems to set waypoints. It would be nice if I could save my route and restore it every day in a more efficient manner. Set up a long route, then drag Route to the in-game notepad to create a route-link, to save for future use. Right click on the route-link, set route. Have the route be preserved exactly, maintaining the waypoints and everything just as they were initially set up. Then I only have to right click once per day to set up my route, instead of dozens of times. The route could also be dragged to chat to create the route-link for fleet members. So everyone in fleet can have the exact same route with the exact same waypoints, regardless of autopilot settings.

When initially setting up a route using the map, it would also be nice if I didn't have to right click on the system to set a waypoint. Allow me to hover my mouse over the system and press a key to set a waypoint. Rightclicking is tiresome on the hand, and when doing it over and over rapidly for a complex exploration route, it is easy to mess up and hit Set Destination instead of Set Waypoint, particularly because there seems to be a bit of lag going on. So... POOF! there goes all the waypoints you've set up so far. Because the menu lagged a bit or your hand is spazzing out from all the right clicking. Start over, setting up your route from the beginning! Arg.

Suggestion: More warnings for PI
Keywords: PI
Note: I'm (hopefully) not the only one who has forgotten to route an extractor and left it running with effectively no yield overnight. Include warnings for at least some of the following (similar to the "Unsubmitted edits" warning):
- Processing facilities without any blueprints assigned
- Processing facilities which do not have an incoming route for their ingredients
- Extractors which are running but not routed
- Processing facilities with unrouted products

Suggestion: add text input to let me filter the "export fittings" list

Keywords: ui, fittings

Note: if I want to save xml for a particular fitting from ingame to import to EFT/PYFA i have to scroll through the entire list of every personal fitting I have and tick the box for the particular fitting I'm interested in.
i'd rather just type "hawk - ab" to exclude non-matching fitting names from the selection box.

I would still like to see the restriction of saving a fitting with no modules but has cargo removed, so I can save common freighter cargo load outs.

See original post for more reasons why and how I would use it

Suggestion: Suppress Watchlist Notification Popups when User Interface Visibility = False (CTRL+F9)
Keywords: ui, watchlist, camera
Note: Toggle User Interface Visibility Shortcut (CTRL+F9),

When taking cinematic shots with the UI disabled by hitting CTRL+F9, the watchlist popups still show up on screen. If you are capturing footage, this ruins the immersion of the video. Please suppress the popups while in this mode.

  • Suggestion: Make join a fleet via double click on a fleet possible.
  • Keywords: UI, fleet, fleet finder
  • Notes: In the Fleet Finder, you have to cumbersomely right click - join or double click - click Join fleet at the moment, while a double click to join fleets is much more intuitive.

No, you're not. It is HUGELY annoying that products are not autorouted by default when possible. Currently, you have to click, click and click again. And THEN you have to double-check all the clicks, since sometimes a click will not register properly, just closing the routing window without actually doing anything. Right now, I just found that 2 days of Coolant production from a processor har gone down the drain, unrouted, meaning that the next phase of production cannot proceed as planned. It is just SO F***ing STUPID that this is possible in a game where spaceships can practically build themselves, if you just provide materials and blueprints.

Warnings like you suggest would help a great deal. But really, those clicks should not be necessary in the first place. Too many of them as it is.

Suggestion: Bulk edit contacts, remove from watch list
Keywords: UI, contacts
Notes: When editing contacts in bulk there is no option to remove them from watchlist, this would be nice for keeping old war targets without having to track their online presence until it becomes necessary again.

P.S.

Selecting a label when adding contacts is a nice new feature but let us also change labels when editing contacts.

Suggestion: Repair kill rights, overview colour tag still dodgy
Keywords: UI, overview
Notes: Was marked as fixed, but I still find people with available killrights in overview not marked with it until clicked.

  • Suggestion: Make it possible to copy killmail information from the link in a chat by right clicking it.
  • Keywords: UI, killmail, copy information
  • Notes: Currently you have to open the killmail and then laboriously navigate to the top-left corner and click there to get the information that a killboard can handle. Instead you should be simply be able to right click a killmail in a chat and copy the information from there.

A similar approach I would welcome with contracts. Currently you need to open courier contracts to set destinations or use the contracts window; however, I'd like to be able to set destinations from either right-clicking the contracts linked in a chat/mail/the contract overview tab or by using the radial menu on them in the same locations.

Suggestion: To make corporation medals able to be awarded to pilots outside of that corporation.
Keywords: UI, medals, awards, decorations
Notes: The safeguards against potential spam abuse (or any abuse) are in place already, so i am surprised that corporation medals are currently restricted to members of that corporation only.

Fun, so you then can extort medals from out of corp entities too, Monk's profile strain on servers will increase to even more crazy loading times.

  • Suggestion: Create a Tab in the Assets window named "Favorites".
  • Keywords: UI, assets, favorites
  • Notes: I need a tab where I can collect all those stations in my assets that I regularly need.

The thing is - even though I usually stay in one region - when setting up waypoints for routes, I have to switch between several regions in the Region tab to find all the stations I need. Since it is usually the same stations, I would like to have them concentrated in one tab.

Suggestion: Enable limited macro hotkey creation
tags: UI
Notes: The ability to make hotkeys for items such as warping to a specific bookmark, which you expect to need on very short notice. This would duplicate only existing options, but do so in a way that simplifies their use.
(Needing to go through multiple steps on a right click menu is pointlessly complicated, if you know you will need the function well enough in advance to allow planning like this)

Example: Warp to bookmark location XX-YY-ZZ (Useless when in any other system, but possibly vital on short notice when every second counts)
Example: Open fleet hangar on specific ship (Would need to be remade often, but used enough to make the effort efficient overall)
Example: Eject ore bay contents into jet can

  • Suggestion: Give us a search box in the History tab in the fleet window
  • Keywords: UI, fleet window, search, history tab
  • Notes: This is not so important for broadcast history, but in the loot history it can be quite handy to find out who has looted the shiny stuff in a fleet fight, which is meant for alliance loot.

  • Suggestion: Make ungrouping weapons dialogue suppressable
  • Keywords: ui
  • Note: Box appears every time weapons are ungrouped
  • ---

My personal desire for this stems from using depots to change my turrets, specifically in incursions to swap from long range guns to short for killing the structures. Having to interact with this popup window potentially every site is annoying. The grouping and ungrouping of guns is not a vital action that doesn't take much time to rectify a mistake with and thus when a player feels comfortable knowing when they're going to cause an ungroup the popup is just in the way.

Blanking signatures doesn't seem to work, so this is here.

Add in random ads for Gallente pron in the UI.
It doesn't need to be real, but with so many references in game, I think it would be fitting.

    EXAMPLE:
Local Chat, brought to you by Cyberella's new movie: "Quafe This"
(With a little poster of a gal holding a can suggestively)
