PvE little things

- Some kind of counter on the agents info window to let you know how many missions you've currently ran, and/or when your next Storyline is due. This station has 8 agents, I can't remember which one I was working for... and I've been trying to grind storyline missions for a while now :(

The next couple are more "RP/Lore"
- The Blockade; probably not so easy, and more of a thing that just bugs me whenever I get the mission but can we move the site to in orbit of a planet, and ditch the stargate, it feels SO strange having a usually unmarked stargate show up in the middle of nowhere :/ Feels like a planet blockade would be easier to believe.


There are many other things I've ranted to my corpies about, but most I've either forgotten, or are more than just little things.

Edit: I've been reminded that there are more missions than just The Blockade that feature stargates 'still in use'. Though I know a couple are mentioned as being abandoned, which makes sense for why they'd no longer be on the overview 'starcharts'.

"Pools" for modules, or otherwise having "one key" to press when managing multiple instances of identical modules.

Current: Three tractor beams are hotkeyed to F6, F7, and F8. You have to manually track which beam is available for use, and press the associated key (i.e. F6, F7, or F8.)

Future: You just press F6 (or some other hotkey) and the next available tractor beam will automatically be activated.

Salvagers and perhaps even target painters could benefit from being "pooled."


Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

For distribution missions - a quick way to assign route sequence (rather than going into 'manage', clicking and dragging the systems into the sequence you want). Something like highlinting a stop and just pressing a number to place it in the sequence.

Also, distribution missions would be much easier to organize if you could see where each agent's next offered mission was going (like, "local -> Jita") for each agent so you could line them up as you fly into a system.

Have an option to not display the clouds in sites of any kind... They don't really do much for the scenery, but are an absolute FPS killer... from 70FPS right down to 15 If I fly right into one,

Here are a few more :)
- The ability to drag drones onto a targeted object for them to engage/salvage/mine on them would be rather helpful, we can drag and drop them into space/between groups etc.
- Overhaul those little icons, make it easier to distinguish between hull sizes a little?
- Some way for newer pilots to tell how much more standing they need with an agent before they can speak to them.

There's another one I thought of today that prompted me to take another look in the thread, but for the life of me I can't remember.

problem: lets say i have a "large shield booster pith type -x" for sale at Jita. I acquire another one and go to sell it at Jita. I have to look up whether it sold or not otherwise i will have two separate postings for the same item type.


solution: under the advanced sale option put up a warning that you already have one (or more) of these for sale at this station (of course this warning should be selectable in case it annoys some people).

Yawn,  I'm right as usual. The predictability kinda gets boring really.

You can get the market to highlight your own orders so you can tell which ones are yours.

I would like to see an agent / faction like INTERBUS, wo has a lvl 4 agent which is accessible only, if you have a +5 standing to all four empires.

This would reflect the idea of Interbus being the only faction with neutral standing to all epires.

We all know its not easy to get a +5 Standing with all 4 empires, but still, its possible. Thus long term mission runners would have a nice goal to achive.

The reward of such a faction LP of course would be very special, similar to SOE and even better:
Why not allow some special items being traded by Interbus LP store since they have all the military contacts to all empires and, as a trading organisation, they are able to access the best of all 4 Empires.
At the same time the interbus story line missions could deliver single variations of smaller officer mods, but would not add faction standing to any faction or just to one chosen faction, as in the sisters epic arc.

Other ideas for a reward could be some special skills in regards to trading, e.g. a skill, where you can enter a region in market an will be able to remotely lookup a region of your choice even if you are in a different region lets say every hour for 5 minutes or with another limitation. Things lika that.

Storyline missions offered by the same corp you run missions for. Running 16 missions for corp A then getting a storyline from corp B is stupid.

Make all missions of the same level the same difficulty. RP in missions is cool the first few times but after that it gets stupid. Keep the heavy RP in cosmos/storylines/Arcs as they aren't as frequent.

Redo cosmos missions and streamline them.

ADD AGENTS COOLDOWNS TAB TO THE JOURNAL

i really need to write down the time i had declined agent's mission to avoid declining another one in the 4 hours interval
i would like to see real-time countdown displayed at the separate journal page called agents cooldowns
please allow me to sort by agents' name, corp, faction or cooldown remaining columns
(or just redesign current Missions Tab - i would like to see not only missions offered and accepted but declined and cooldown to repeatable and once-in-a-lifetime missions as well - just add neccessary columns and the checkbox to display all instead of displaying accepted/offered. Displaying deadline and bonus time for accepted ones should also do no harm)

this is to include 3 months cooldowns for the agents staring repeatable epic-arcs (not all of the agents involved but the starting one)
this is to include COSMOS and Datacenter agents with Next Time Agent available = NEVER
(i used ALL Caldari dogtags datacenter agents about 6 months ago and SOME of Amarr ones but i can not recollect
which ones exatcly and was noob enough not to record this in my ingame notepad, so the only way to realize is to
fly to datacenter and try to get missions, but in case of success i am to buy tags asap, this is incovinient. Same applies to COSMOS agents. Cannot recall which of them i had run and which had not)

Hope this would be not hard to make, because game "knows" all these things, but just doesn't display them
to make carebear's life colder, darker and harsher ..

the storyline should be of the type u did to get it. means running security u get a kill mission, running distribution u get distribution.

Make the clouds in missions and 'plexes. Although it's nice that they are now disable-able by the effects option, I find that they are such a FPS killer on their own that It would be nice to be able to turn them off with turing off all the other related 'effect,' which aren't nearly as bad on FPS

LOW SEC MISSIONS

Currently, the gain from mission reward (ISK and LP) is based off a formula that takes into accoun the sec status of a system. For instance a 0.4 system pays less reward in ISK and LP than a 0.1 system. I don't see why this should be the case as a mission in 0.4 space is just as dangerous as a mission in 0.1 space. I feel that this is a deterrent for people to run missions in low sec as there is very little difference in reward between a 0.4 and a 0.5 securty agent but the risk is far greater. In order to fix this all missions in low sec should get the ISK and LP reward as if the mission was ran from a 0.1 securty agent.


ANOMALIES:

The one thing that bugs me when I'm running anomalies is the complete lack of feedback in the anomaly.

The only way I can tell if the anomaly is complete is by looking at the system scanner and seeing it "disappear" from the list.

A simple [GREEN] message in local saying something along the lines of "It appears all the pirates have been destroyed" or anything along those lines to let new players know when they have completed an anomaly.


ADDITIONAL EDIT: Place expeditions in the missions tab in the top left or better yet, give it it's own button next agents Called "Active Expeditions" which gives us info on name of expedition and which part you're on (1 of 4), target system, time left to complete.

Serpentis Annex (the one leading to powergrid) does not unlock when the correct trigger is shot. You have to shoot a bunker, which causes a spawn with a unique name (standard rat however). Upon killing him the gate does not open. This plex can currently only be completed with a tag. This bug has been outstanding for at least 4 years.


Also, we demand a bluepost regarding escalation resets. The ability to reset the escalation timer was one of the very few reasons to do them (and their base sites) at all. Escalations are harder than other sites, escalations require long travel. Reseting escalations allows for collaboration, and for them to even be sold to other players. Escalations are the most exciting and difficult pve content nullsec has to offer, and making them less valuable and less accessible is a detriment to the game.


Provide LP tokens that can be purchased from the LP store. Say you purchase them at 100lp per unit and redeem them at 95-98 LP per unit, which can then also be sold on the market and redeemable by everyone.

The biggest small change I would ask for is the removal of the "loot spew" mechanic in hacking/relic sites. When you have won the mini-game of locating the anomaly, and won the mini-game of hacking, and won the (sort of) mini-game of avoiding being ganked while hacking, having to chase your loot all over the place is not fun-inducing.
