I looked at the post and could not support the idea you suggested, so will not post in it.

Mods deleted it. I said I would like it however it's no biggie if it's not developed. I have more important things to focus on. And yes I am shady.

Infinity Ziona is someone I respect in Eve, nothing shady about her at all, I just did not like the idea she posted in F&I, don't put words in my mouth.

Going way back on the thread here, but I couldn't have said this better myself in as few words. It's just exactly how I feel (and then some!).



And this. Every time this subject is brought up (having done it a few times myself), some people act like your touching an exposed nerve. I'm in the camp with the others that hope to see WiS further developed. I've been in this game for years, and I've played EVE Online for the immersion factor. You'd think this was joke right? Perhaps you do. But where else do we a universe as rich as EVE Online that we can throw ourselves into and be a part of as starship pilots? This is a monopoly that CCP has in the industry right now that, I hope does not last much longer. Incarna was what I thought was my hopes and dreams for this game coming true. Finally, stepping out of our ships, seeing other faces, living a close-to-second-life experience, in space! I welcomed Incarna with open arms(and quite honestly didn't care one way or the other about Aurum, I mean noone was forcing me to buy any of it).

At first it was the captains quarters, and I just knew that CCP was working on getting that door in the quarters open for us and a rich new experience lied ahead, but... well, thats not what I got. I'm equally as bitter as others here, but perhaps for different reasons. I'm bitter at every other player who lost sight of the dream of what something like WiS could have been, and instead chose to make CCP's PR life a living hell. I understood why they backed down from WiS, but that doesn't mean I was not angry about it.

I play today because I still have hope that CCP will see something like this thread and realize that while there are many bitter peoples out there, there are also many who want to see WiS become all that it can be. I do agree with previous posters that it should be a little at a time, because that seems to be the only way you can scratch two backs at once. As it stands right now, they are scratching only one, and I'm curious to see how much longer it can last this way. I'm only one player, and what I do has little to no impact, but I know in my heart that if it becomes clear to me that my hopes and dreams for this game will indeed not happen, I will quite simply leave, and I doubt that I will be the only one (those interest graphs some posts back shows as much for me). I've become invested in EVE over the years, because of what I hope to see it become. It has allowed me to instill some faith in CCP. Faith that has chipped away ever since they stepped away from WiS. Like someone who's been in a bad relationship, I'm afraid to keep feeling that way about EVE Online. For this reason I hope for alternatives in the future (eyeing a big one right now that I'm sure most here know about) and I believe that some healthy competition (not neccessarily "killers") would do CCP some good, if that's what it takes to jog some sense into their future developments.

All of us here, are just full of opinions. Leaning towards our own desires. It can't be helped, threads like this pitting two sides against each other, and it's going to happen A LOT more. One of these days, I'll learn to keep my nose out of it. These places are trouble. :P

I called you what you are, I listen to other peoples opinions, but what is important, is how they say things and the intent behind it and whether the person has an open mind on the subject and can actually hold an open debate and listen to other views, once it is clear that the person is just a megaphone then I remove them as background noise, simple as. No apologies...

I live in France, I went to Montpelier which is a city that has a statue of Stalin in the centre, I made a point of going there late at night and I pee'd on its leg, Stalin, lol!!!

Ahhh yeah, Still remember the anticipation started in 2007 with the video of Ambulation of a "different but inclusive" aspect of EVE that involved the most basic and well known mechanic of MMO's "walking around" with an Avatar, interaction using characters not just ships.

I know it is unwanted by some, but i get the feeling that a great many more people would like to see it still happen in EVE.

After all, i think EVE has one of the best looking Avatar programs in all MMO's. Now if they can just expand on that little by little into Walking in Stations environments. Bonus!

I have stated many times I am actually in favour of WiS
