STAR MAP <-> SOLAR SYSTEM MAP BUTTON

Its buried on the star map control window. Instead of being easily available on the scanner, or on the dashboard.

Also, is there a reason the solar system map is always black background? I kind of miss when we could still see nebulas.

Ability to fit things to a non-active ship.

Ability to fit modules even if you can't use them (just can't online them).

Ability to inject skills you lack prereqs for (just can't train them).

A "live" dscan that doesn't need constant clicking.

The ability to toggle a "tactical dscan" on your system map

The ability to "automatically route" to factory installations on a planet instead of having to click 6 times.

Ability to track market data station by station rather than region by region.

SELECT ALL - INSURE.

Quality of Life skills:

-Multiplier 8
-Gives no direct stats improvements
-allows automization of repetious boring tasks

Example:

Skill:Artificial Intelligence: Salvaging Script
Multiplier:8

Description:
Skill at programming algorithms for salvager modules, enabling automatic salvaging for nearby wrecks.

20% reduction in script cycle time per level.



The above example would work such that you could purchase scripts that could be loaded into salvager modules, just like with tracking computers. At level 1 of Artificial Intelligence: Salvaging Script you'd be able to fit these scripts and run them.

The automatic script would automatically target legal wrecks within salvage range and begin to salvage them, but with a delay to when the salvage cycle begins, and that delay is what's being reduced by each level of Artificial Intelligence: Salvaging Script, so at level 5 it would have no delay before it could begin the salvaging process on a new wreck.



Remembering that these are multiplier 8 (or higher even) skills, they take very long to max and they give no stat bonuses, they would be nothing more than a luxury, but one that could be very nice for the right players.

This "Quality of Life" concept could be extended to other parts of the game. Tractor beams comes to mind to work in conjunction with salvaging scripts. Other areas could find a use for these as well I'm sure.

Furthermore, these scripts would have to be produced by players, there could be Tech2 scripts with special abilities etc.

In general it could add more depth to the game and give relief to our poor fingers in, quite frankly, boring tasks that holds no game play what so ever.

Perhaps this wasn't a "little thing" after all, but just wanted to get it out there :)

Inventory Filters Tweak:

Allows us to have both [AND] and [OR] statement groups within the same inventory filter. As it is now, we can only have [AND] or [OR] in our filters. Currently we need to couple multiple filters if we want to couple [AND] / [OR] inside one filter.

Bookmarks selected in the "People and Places" window are also selected in the Solar System map. This would make managing bookmarks in space easier, since you could just click them in P&P and see where they are in space. This would benefit a lot of wormhole corporations, particularly after downtime when the time comes to rescan for the sig IDs. Of course, any player or corp that keeps a large volume of bookmarks would benefit as well.

Also, adding color options for Titles would be good. While most people are hip to the use of hexadecimal it's still a bit of a pain to manage.

Separate Station Cargo Bays. It seems like it would be a pretty basic addition..Giving people the ability to buy (w/ Isk) additional Cargo bays. It's a real pain to scroll through all my stuff to find my Rigs/mods. If I could have like four bays to separate my ammo from my rigs and another to store the stuff I'll never use and/or plan to sell in a contract.

I know that CCP has been re-vamping their textures and what not. But one thing would be nice is a boost to the Explosions. In my mind when rockets/missiles hit a ship I expect a bigger boom. Or at least the explosion animation slowed down to give it that "big" feeling. Similar things could happen when Hybrids and lasers hit a ship with no shields. In the same spirit. having smoke linger longer on a battle field would be cool. I get the image of a smokey asteroid field or gate. and seeing the rays of light in the smoke. A bit like Planetside 2's lighting.

Stop heat from deactivating on a warp disruptor/scrambler when you get out of the new range of a warp disruptor/scrambler while it is heated. Also allow us to put items in heat when cloaked.

The most annoying thing in eve is when you are chatting with someone and the people who are blue to you send you a convo. It automatically opens and before you know it you are typing in that new window.

Or when you are typing to someone, then press enter to send and see that you just had a new chat request. The enter you just pressed will reject the new chat request. Oops, did I just deny a new possible client Evil

Can CCP...pleassseeeeeee stop moving the focus of the windows when you get a new chat window or requests !! It is so easy to change that.

Treat Ore Holds as valid delivered mission objective spaces.

My missioner can complete a mission delivery with Marines in the cargo bay. My miner should be able to complete a mining mission with ore in the hold.

allow the ship hanger to be shared between all characters on a single account. it is a hassle to have to contract a ship to another character on the same account, which is the only option since the trade option is not available.


and i have suggested this before but please add a 'find in inventory' option along with 'find in contracts' and 'view market' options.

add a 'medical' salvage skill and allow a corpse to be 'salvaged' - this will allow for a random drop of implants from a corpse.

this will raise the value of corpses floating in space and make a corpse a commodity, like a PiƱata. allowing for a black market corpse trade..

there certainly is. but the issue is having to type the name of the mod i am looking for. very annoying. having a right click option on the item would be awesome.

I would like the training que to be increased to a week, sometimes people lose power during the winter from ice building up on the power lines, and you can be out of power and internet for a week or longer. I just think lots of people in rural areas who play have this problem, its fairly common. Also things such as natural disasters such as tornado's and hurricanes are common.


People shouldn't lose skill training when they experience a disaster :).
