Good luck, pilots. I'm going to be too late to the party for it to matter.

Yeah, I'm absolutely convinced no possible good can come of this. I'm going to be finding a good bar in Syndicate and holing up there until this all blows over. Anyone care to join me, or failing that, have recommendations for a good bar in Syndicate?

The use of Sarum Prime could be significant

I read reports long ago of a super weapon being constructed from minerals with special properties being mined from certain stars. Hopefully it may be time for us to learn these secrets and create such a weapon that can rid us of this Sansha menace.

Rumour has it the most effective vessels for this task will be any Navy or Pirate variant of a Battleship class hull. To further prove your effectiveness, it is encouraged to fit as many Navy or Pirate faction modules to them before linking up at the rally points.

Do not worry, nothing can possibly go wrong.

I will come as an observer, possibly gathering and sharing intel when the assault starts, but until I learn the nature of the threat, I will try to retain my neutrality.

If I decide to remain neutral throughout the conflict, I will assist in rescue and recovery operations if the situation allows it.

Peace,

Are you hinting at the Mekhios Weapon?

I had planned to spend the day at the Caravanserai with my son.

I'll not disappoint him.

Good luck, everyone. Spirits guide.

Understood, Ms. Starfire; while project reviews don't have the significance of family affairs, I'd be failing in my duties if I were to clear a day's schedule on such short notice, when my calendar had been filled weeks in advance.

I have no doubt many will answer CONCORD's call, though, and we'll soon hear what exactly pulled the attention of all four states.

Everyone did. Some were willing to take the risk that they were wrong.
I wasn't, obviously.

Considering that the destination systems leaked a few hours before, it was fully expected.

I had a bad feeling about this when I saw a caldari subhuman in command of the fleet.

If admiral Karetta had been in command the outcome would most likely have been different.

And this, Caldari, is what your allies think of you.

No, it would have been exactly the same, because nothing about the nullsec alliances would have changed at all.

Andreus, we know. That's why we can trust them. We already know they'll turn on us the moment they're capable of doing so, and it's always taken into account. I wonder how long you guys can trust the Minnies. Or the other way around.

Public Release 0711113.01

At 18.50h, LDRSS command ship LDMT Ojaabun departed Ihas under command of Commander Sami Okuuda (CN) as member of the joint task-force rallied by CONCORD. LDRSS deployed under the directives given it via the LDRSS Charter, Section 12a. Her role within the fleet was to provide Command support to the 250+ Capsuleer vessels on deployment, and to this purpose, was outfitted for speed, agility, and point defense.

Specific events and objectives have not yet been cleared for release. However, I am sad to report that LDMT Ojaabun went down with all hands within the objective system, roughly two hours after deployment from Ihas. She survived a number of attacks before her primary reactor core went into overload state.

Ships are lost very frequently in the Cluster at large, and this loss is no different from them. The 25 men and women in service on Ojaabun who died in service to the CEP and the State are a small statistic compared to the losses of the day. However, they served with distinction and integrity, and maintained broadcast of vital FTL information to the very end so that others amongst the fleet could better avoid the same fate. They have earned honoured places amongst their ancestors. Haajiken kalen, kirjuunen. Lai dai.

Each day we go to the storm-grey cliffs,
and down to the shining shore;
Come ice and wind cross the groaning bow,
Come cannon shot and the deafening row,
Come death to us, prince and poor.

Each day we go to the storm-grey cliffs,
with a Raata-soldier's pride;
Our banners bear our weightening charge,
Our duty drives our whitening barge,
Our ship sails to where we've died.

Each day we go to the void-black rifts,
to the maw that eats our best;
Our corporate crests show who played their parts,
Our modern swords held by ancient hearts,
'Till we've finally earned our rest.

Today, pilots who should have known better engaged in another bout of follow-the-idiot with CONCORD. Results were predictable.

And, really, why should we Caldari care about Angels and Serpentis? They don't bother us. Even if they did, traipsing into null-sec en masse behind a pied piper is not a method for achieving even middle age.

Guess I was wrong, it looks like something went horribly wrong.

I hope people didn't lose expensive assets and/or implants in their little jaunt.

Tragic.

Truly, truly tragic.

Oh wait, but what's this?

Really? Well perhaps you might be right. Then again if Admiral Karetta is anything like you, maybe not, because then I think the fleet would be too confused trying to discern which distended orifice is his mouth and which is his ass.
