Split all ships cargo bay - basically 2 divisions for normal cargo bay

Its annoying to have to sort your ammo - mission tags - etc from any loot that you have collected

This will make it so that you can select all on the loot stuff in a separate area and all the stuff u want on your ship will be safely kept in the other division

Even if its not another tab just put a divider in the cargo bay window or something



Second idea --
make the search feature in assests look inside ships cargo - containers - lab storage - corporate hangers ETC ETC ETC
If I search for an Item I want to know if I have it or not -- maybe selections to choose to not look for equiped items or something so you can specialize searches

Sentry guns in low sec kill drones. They should shoot the owner instead if possible. This is why I never fly gallente, it sucks.

AttentionRemote assisting an agressed ship should give the assisting ship the same agression, which means no docking or jumping... this should apply to remote modules like remote eccm, sensor boosters, transferes, repairs and so on... this will change a lot of how pvp is often being done currently with examples like: carriers on stations, neutral alts in logistics, logistics cross jumping if shot at while on gate, and jumping back in afterwards... and so on :b forces more commitment if they choose to assist

Arrow A pseudo-fullscreen mode for the Mac client, like the Windows client has already. A window without borders, able to span over multiple displays - without claiming exclusive fullscreen. Note: OS X Lion fullscreen would be a way if more than one display is usable that way.

There's a ton of things people want.

Please have drones stop yellowboxing me when their controlling ship is no longer able to tell them what to do. That is, to say, that if they are sitting in space idle because their controlling ship warped off or was destroyed, they should not have any targets active at all.

1. Bookmark sorting option: Only show bookmarks for current system.

99% of the time that's all I want to see anyway, and it would let you then actually use the other sorting options (instead of having to sort "by system" and then scroll your giant bookmark list to the appropriate part of the list).

2. Ships that log off unagressed, but are aggressed before their ewarp engages (IE while aligning) should count as aggressed.

It's dumb as hell that if im sitting on a gate in MY FRIGATE and a drake jumps through the gate, sees me there, and logs out before his gatecloak expires, I have only 60 seconds to kill him. Once a ship has entered its ewarp (IE has aligned and begins warping off grid / is no longer targetable) it should be free to disappear as normal, but not before. Possibly the most annoying thing about the current mechanic is when you camp a cyno beacon, a hostile ship jumps in, and then logs out before you can decloak / lock them, resulting in them disappearing before you can come anywhere close to killing them without a doomsday. I've had this happen a few times on unarmed / disarmed cyno beacons and its really frustrating that clueless idiots can escape with their fancy ships by just pressing ctrl-q.

3. Inventory / Fitting Option: When clicking "fit to active ship" on a stack of modules in your inventory (say, guns), make a "Number" window pop up.

IE, if I am fitting MY VINDICATOR and I right click on a stack of 60 neutron blaster IIs and click "fit to ship," I then proceed to type "8" into the lil box and all my guns fit (or as many as will given hardpoint numbers, whatever) instead of me having to click the same "fit to ship" button 8 times in a row, waiting for 5 seconds between each for inventory lag to catch up so the context menu generates properly again :3

4. A way to drag things "out" of a trade window

I meticulously install 20 different items into a trade window. I then drag a stack of stuff to a trade window, intending to trade only 10 units. The shift key im pressing doesn't register! The whole stack drops into the trade. Now I either need to trade the whole stack of things (OK if its a friend on the other end, but still annoying) or I have to cancel the trade session and start over. Instead, there should be a way to take things back out of a trade window!

5. Categories for watch-lists

e: I went back and looked at labels again, and I cant remember what I was so mad about when I last tried to use them, but their functionality on the test server is fantastic so I guess either you fixed it or its not that much of a problem. An export function for contact lists would be nice though.

When orbiting a planet I want to visually see the moons in space. When at a moon I want to visually see its planet and perhaps the other moons.

Oh yes, this. Celestials get no love in this game, when those things give you actual clues to where you are in 3D space and help immersion.

Just like the whole region nebula / stargate alignment helps you making sense of where you are and where you're going to, same should happen for the aforementioned moons.

Something i forgot from the first post.
Overview tweaks:
I want my fleet-drones to be marked purple, so i can see if the enemy has launched it's drones.

I want that mining drones behave somewhat same as the combat drones; engage targed (shortcut) = mine repeatable. If on "aggressive mode", mine the asteroid i'm mining.

I also want to be able to make difference which drones or ships are abandoned and therefore not something to lookat.

= To add those up; my overview would only see the targets i possible want to attack.

For other random stuff:

Fix the defender missiles; make them fire automatically, faster rate and more powerful (destroys more missiles per volley); perhaps own module for them?

New drone UI. Ease the access for settings (the for line atop each others are not so intuitive, like for drone settings). While you are at it, rework the whole UI to help new players to get in.

And i so hate the forums. Yet again my 100 word edit got ganked :-(

Addition to visual improvements below; Other moons and planets should shine (reflect the light from the sun) - Add this to the ships on grid too! When i zoom out, i should be able to see atleast the thrusterflare from distant ship if its engines are on.

Mission sites seems to be too compact, expand them - with debris or such.

I want to see which containers have been opened already (magnetometric site for example).

Asteroidbelts that orbits around the sun, rather than planet would be nice.

I want to be able to warp to the secondary suns / blackhole in wormhole space; lift them up from the backround.

I disagree!

Any chance that the EWAR icon in overview could be toggled from the far RHS to one of the preceeding columns? My occasional little tweaks to column width means I sometimes loose this valuable information (I play in windowed mode).

[Sincere apologies in advance if this can already be done and I've somehow overlooked the information in my extensive searches]

Can you make us see the celestials in solar system???

I would like to see moons of planet when I am orbiting planet...
I would like to see planet when i am orbiting its moon...
I would like, wherever in system I am, to see closer planets... small but be able to see it... and not just little UI circles/squares/triangles in space so that i can see where it is... i want to see planet...

You made nebulaes to give us feeling where we are in large scale space...
You made gates to point the star where we are going to have feeling that space is connected...

This would give us feeling where we are in small scale space... where we are in solar system,,,
This would give us feeling that solar system is really one compact, connected system where we know where we are and where we are going... and not only pretty background with UI circles/squares/triangles in space...

Can this be done???

I would like an ESC-menu option to disable gamelogs, similar to chatlogs.

Alternatively, a more sane logging approach that does not put 30'000 files of 500 bytes on my drive.

When someone's ship blows up or goes off grid, their now-idle drones should not prevent me from cloaking (they still have target lock... why?)

I think some of these have already been suggested, but here goes:


  • Manual reordering of fleet watchlist
  • Shortcut for drone launch and assist, or at least buttons in the drone window
  • Stop the drone window from closing and refreshing when you launch all drones (very annoying)
  • Better drone AI, or at least prioritization of targets by sizes
  • Fix "stuck" notifications like the jammed progress bar that keeps popping up long after that Niarja that jammed you is dead.
  • Repositioning of these notifications and of the combat message area.
  • Easier tagging (shortcuts maybe?)
  • Orca pilot can allow OOC fleet members to actually use the corp hangar and take stuff out. Ideally with per-hanger control. Having to jetcan stuff is a pain
  • Saved overview settings include all settings: tab name, columns, column order, state filters, etc.
  • Mac Client: Full screen windowed mode without titlebar and adjusted resolution to prevent clipping
  • Mac Client: Multi monitor support, extended resolutions without having to use 3rd party tool (SwitchResX)

I don't think you "get" space. Its extremely ******* big. Also, if you're anywhere remotely near moons, and you grab your camera, point it at the moon, and zoom in, you can often see the lil moon floating in the distance. Ditto planets. The fact is when you're 40AU away from some tiny-ass moon you're not gonna see it floating next to your ship in space.

Thought of another thing, though: put an arrow / vector indicator on the tactical overlay that shows which direction your ship is pointed when your camera is zoomed out. Maybe something that fades in and out depending on camera distance, so that when your ship is very much visible the pointer is transparent, but as you zoom further out it gets more and more opaque? I can't tell you how annoying it is when you're trying to manually pilot while zoomed out to watch something, and one of your double-clicks doesn't take so you think your ship has changed directions but in actuality it hasn't and there's no good way to tell without zooming in again to watch your hull.

Along the same lines, you could also add a line poining out into space on the overly that indicates your ship's heading, and a velocity readout next to the arrow would be nice as well.

i dunno what you have done recently with how assets are choosed while you do a select all -> move, but please do something so if i put the big things that can't fit, it will change them at last, like before.
now i can do anything, he never choose the items on the order i class them. and it's irritating, very irritating.

a way to see / move lots of assets that are on a remote station would be nice also.
there's time we want to know what is on xx system, or if we have this and that here, or want to put all these on contrat for a corpy, alt, or courrier contract, but it's often a pain to manage that.
