[Rubicon] Visual changes feedback

There's a weird thing going on with the text of Sentry Guns in Space. If the camere is ~1.5km or less to the Sentry Gun, the bracket disappears and the text "Minmatar Sentry Gun" stays on the same position on my monitor (not moving while moving camera). After zooming out, everything is fine again. I can reproduce the same with "look at". Look at sentry, zoom in, right click and move camera.

Screenshot are totaly broken. The colors are wrong. See Screenshot a few posts earlier.

The ugly pixel effect in the preview is still not fixed.

Design for new dropdown menues looks nice.

Plug/Unplug implants while training works like a charm Smile

One thing that would be really nice is if you could make it, that while moving forward/backwards in the info windows it would remember the open tab of every window.

New Golem needs to lose the hammerhead "cockpit" and go with the old "beak" nose. Adding some faux-talons/claws (i.e. Raven's feet) on the bottom would be peachy. Asymmetric and stylized of course.

The filter "Only show skills that I can currently train" in the Skills tab in the character sheet shows skill at lvl 5 (that I obviously can't train any higher)

  • New dead animation is awesome, same for new buble effect Shocked

  • Also i love that new UI/window etc look, smoother, looks clean, modern and more easy to read/see things. Fantastic really Cool

  • New Golem look... hmm good that it looks different from raven hull, but i think it could look better...

  • Bastion animation (pfff too much word) looks just very disappointing... Only one element move a little and that's it... Where's the actual transformation?! There should be more parts moving, changing position, shape etc, some graphic effect could be add to actually symbolize uber tank

  • Command ships hull switching: don't like it, Nighthawk on ferox hull was one of coolest looking ship in game, now it's another drake, how much more of them will You put in game ffs?

Enough with this "information listing" everywhere the mouse hovers! Don't really need the entirety of the items description on something just because we hovered the mouse in the wrong place...

Also, why remove the *blue* from the info button?

It used to be like "Hey stupid, i'm over here!", but now its all like "Hah, come find me if you can." Which imho, is a bad change.

Any reasons for this, or just more change for change sake?

Light and Heavy Interdictor bubbles look too similar. Currently on Tranquility, at least with my graphics settings, its very easy to see which bubble is up from the effect which is really useful. The new effect only has a small reddish glow in the HIC bubble that makes it different from light dictor bubble and that will be covered by brackets and other effects anyway. Would be nice to see which bubble is up from space rather than having to go through overview to look for Inderdiction probes..

The new golem visually only has four turret slots, so when four launchers are equipped and then you equip tractor beams and salvagers the tractor beams and salvagers don't show up. They are invisible.

Wow, a double dev response. I've never felt so special.

Anyway, back on topic - love the new bubble effect, makes it much clearer if you are in it. Still would like to see an indicator, like the scram/web one, but its a step up from what we have. Have you considered also making the HIC bubble, anchorable bubble, and DIC probe bubble all look a little different? Maybe something as simple as a different color. Just so its clear where the source of the bubble is when looking at them.

The new Command Ship Models are nice. Still will miss the fat red chicken for the Absolution, but the Harbinger based model is growing on me. The Nighthawk makes the Drake model actually look quite cool, so props on that. Sleipnir and Eos I'm kinda indifferent to - they just don't look that different from the base hull.

Can't stress this enough, it really is a big deal to know what type of bubble you or your fleet members are in. They are wayy too similar right now

well tested the looks on all maruders and so far for me the golem get the worst remake the model got changed to smt "duck-like" and the overall animations dont look that great - some deployable shield harmonics arrays as i like to call those
can we pls have the old golem model back ?
oh and 1 more think why does the golem model look so plain no light nothing rly its a plain texture - early rendering stage ?

Exactly this, we wanted to get the Golem in for today so we sacrificed it having all the texture maps that it will have in finality.

the golems laucher hardpoints are only temporary or is that their new placement because right now they look kinda crappy when mounted under the wings :/

Personnaly, the game crash every 5 mn, with a complete white screen. If i have 2 clients launched, the 2 crash at the same second.

Golem has "funny" color.

Everything else is nice - especially new Myrm. I mean Eos.

Also game isn't trying to burn my video card in CQ anymore (edit: FPS dropped by 33% though)

I feel like space became brighter - or maybe it's just difference in configuration with TQ?
