I spent a few games and I can not possibly know, so the question is:
Minibonk/bonk to make "open" to publish the number of tickets, for example, after the end, on the same page where the winners. But without winners ... And only then do draw.
If I see a list of tickets and a list of the winners at once, I have doubts.
I think many players will be happy to know in advance of the draw numbers of their tickets, but unknown to anyone not falling numbers.
I can not see or do not know ...? On last bonks I have not seen my tickets and found out about them only after draw.

Quote:
We will draw all winners at the end of the event, when the main Bonk timer expires, during a live event in our channel.
a winners show how NICK or NUMBER in chanel?

When the timer ends, we post the ticket list on the site for everyone to download. It shows all tickets, what number they are, and who owns which one. 10-15 minutes after that, once people have had a chance to download it, we start the drawing - using Chribba's dice to pick the winning numbers and post them to the site :)

I did not see and did not know ... Thank you, now everything is clear.
My suggestion that the ticket numbers will show immediately after one kind of bonk, not when the all timer ends...
...however, thanks.

Ok, so I know you guys will have a ton of questions about this Blink Blast news so let me see how many of them I can pre-empt with an FAQ.

Q1, Why have this event?

A1, This is probably the most pertinent question so the answer will be long. Community engagement, be it through a player meet up, live event arc, tournament or giveaway is extremely important for keeping players happy and providing content in other ways than flying, plotting and killing on Tranquility. We constantly look at which of our partners are running major initiatives and find ways to make them into super events whenever we can. With this event we are doing a couple of things. Firstly, we are bringing back old content which has been missing for some time and introducing new items which have previously been unavailable.

SOMER Blink have a history of being trustworthy and honoring every blink played without exception. With that level of trust we were looking at ways of expanding on that good will and allowing players to play for some very unique prizes in that trusted environment. More importantly, we are looking at ways in which we can grow bigger giveaways with more player participation with other Fansites in the future.

Q2, Why Gold Magnates? Are you trying to ruin the game and release every old legacy/limited model?

A2, Absolutely not. I will address the Gold Magnate first and then the Guardian Vexor before looking at other legacy models. The Gold Magnate was handed out back when most players playing today did not know that EVE existed. As a single one was handed out and then destroyed it actually removes content from the game and that is not always a good thing. We thought hard about how we could reintroduce the model back in, still in a super limited basis, and a lottery seemed the fairest way to do this. With SOMER Blink anyone who plays a single blink (even a free promo blink) will gain a ticket to the main Blink Blast so you have a chance to win. Clearly, the more you play the more chances you have to win the blast. In addition, CCP do not have a lottery system capable of handling this for all interested parties. In this circumstance, we are going to the people who have.

With the Guardian Vexor, this is a model we have given out more than once in the past and something we realize is a collectors dream to own.

Let’s look at some of the other ships. Tournament ships will not be handed out in this fashion ever. These ships require full alliances to work hard over a long period of time so handing them out for free would absolutely cheapen the achievements of teams like Verge of Collapse, HYDRA RELOADED and Pandemic Legion and this is not what we are aiming for.

Other hyper rare items like Imperial Apocs and Federate Megathrons should stay hyper rare so there are absolutely no plans to touch these at all. The only time we would look to reintroduce a model is when it ceases to exist in any form. After all, players should be having fun with these ships and not worrying that a line of ships just dies when the last one is popped.

Q3, ‘Clearly, the more you play the more chances you have to win the blast.’ Are you trying to promote gambling within EVE?

A3, I don’t think I need to promote gambling in the slightest. EVE Bet, Monocle Madness and SOMER Blink have processed trillions upon trillions of ISK from many thousands of players. We know you play it and what’s more, we know you enjoy doing it. Like anything in life, you should not blink more than you can afford to lose.

Q4, So you said earlier that SOMER Blink are trusted. Does that mean CCP is promising they will always deliver?

A4, Not at all. What I am saying is that to date they have been 100% trustful and we expect that will continue. Can I promise that Somerset Mahm will not shut up shop some day and go live in Polaris with piles of ISK? Nope, a scam can happen at any time and if that does, we will react accordingly and review how we support others in future.

Q5, This sucks and I don’t like anything about it. What do you say to that?

A5, I am genuinely sorry if this upsets you and I mean that. What I know from EVE players is that you can make some of them happy some of the time but never all of them happy all of the time. Some players will want to have a chance of owning these unique prizes, some will be super unhappy and voice that displeasure and most people will not care and go on with their daily business.

Q6, So how can you be assured that SOMER Blink won’t just make sure all of this goes to their alts?

A6, I can’t. Once again we go back to the trust issue. Having worked with SOMER for some time now I asked myself, ’Could they game this so they gets the cool stuff?’ Yep, they absolutely could. ‘Can we prevent it?’ No, we absolutely can’t. ‘Do I believe they would cheat to win it for themselves?’ I genuinely do not believe they will. SOMER Blink have been one of the most philanthropic groups in EVE.

It is safe to say that they can buy anything that is for sale and money is no object yet, despite that, everyone I have interacted with there is humble, gracious and honest. I honestly believe that this blast will be fun and fair for all who enter. All prizes awarded will be done so using Chribba’s Dice.

Q7, So I am a Fansite, can I have a Vexor/Magnate to give away?

A7, Maybe in the future you can but for now we are testing the waters and looking at how players react. As I stated in the first answer, we want to grow our engagement and start offering really cool stuff to players in the future but we will need to do some trials to find out the best content delivery method for any future event like this. Will we always use SOMER Blink? No, we will want to share the love around. You, as a fansite owner and content provider, will need to...

can't you just make a gold punisher and a guardian Thorax ?

there is nothing wrong with giving out special ships, but you really should never re-use stuff like that :(

could anyone tell me the best way to contact support for Somer Blinks, I have an account issue, nothing major, but I can't figure out how to contact support, as it says to do on the login screen. I don't see a support link of any kind. I asked for help in the SOMER Lotteries channel, but didnt get a response. Just a little confused, If someone in the know could help, I would appreciate it.

Oh hey, giving out priceless ships (that there literally will be TWO IN THE GAME OF) exclusively to third party websites is a thing now?

I mean you could have at least done a frigate tournament at fanfest '14 if you wanted to "add content back into the game", this way is completely misguided though.

who cares, its not even a dozen ships in a game population that hovers between 20,000 and 60,000 characters online at once. This has almost 0 impact on anything

I think this is a terrible idea to ruin very collectable items just because you can. Part of what makes those ships cool is that they are unreachable to most of the people who play this game in the case of the Guardian-Vexor, and legendary because there was only one and it died for the Gold Magnate. IMO things like this should stay untouched as history.

Make new things to introduce this way in larger numbers. Make new history instead of ruining Eve's history.

Also, if you are really going to go through with this tell us how many you are planning on introducing. A Gold Magnate which only 2 will ever exist will be worth far more than a Gold Magnate where 50 might exist. Something about the super rare staying super rare? Not to mention all the Guardian-Vexors in game will be worth less (potentially worthless) now that and undisclosed number might be reintroduced.

Also, what is next on the chopping block? Opux Luxury Yacht? Silver Magnate? I would personally love a State Raven if you could throw some Blink's way. Perhaps give Blink some new T2 BPOs? Or... Keep history as history and make new history with new ships.

It does come across as rather cheap and lazy to recycle existing limited editions rather than creating new ones. Even a minimal variation, like a change in colour and name, would be sufficient to differentiate them from the existing limited editions and quell most of the likely objections to this move.

I understand that time and budget are limited, but how much more would it have cost you to take that extra step and do things right?

handing out anything via lottery is a ******* ******** idea...

after all the tech 2 lottery was such a good idea.

allow them to be invented or just don't do it. this also goes for all tourney ships too.

Putting prize support into a 3rd party website is bad form. It's a bad idea all around.

It appears as favoritism. And having no set condition to be met aside from if the devs like you enough is somewhat questionable.

Care to throw some t2 bpos my way? I'll have lottos for them.

SOMER Blink is now a CCP partner? At what point does a Fansite crossover to being a partner?

What about the people that put in the effort to earn the ISK to buy a Guardian Vexor? Its acceptable to cheapen that effort because they are but a small group of people?

This is a terrible idea. An idea made worse by being completely dismissive of any disagreement from the very start. I dislike the affect this has on the history of these unique ships. I dislike that the only way to have a chance of winning one of these items is to visit a third party website. I dislike that the more ISK people give to SOMER Blink, the better the chances they have to win. I dislike the precedent this sets for the future. I dislike that SOMER Blink gets 100's of Billions to Trillions of ISK worth of goodies from CCP for the simple fact they are a large Fansite. So much to dislike about this plan.

Please don't reintroduce ships like this. There was one, it was blown up, let it stay that way. That's what makes EVE so great, it becomes a huge part of the lore and history!

Also I'm interested in what type of agreement there is between CCP and SOMER (I woudln't be surprised if you say it's between you guys...) seeing as by the looks, you're donating these rare ships, which I am sure will gather A LOT of attention, which in turn will be tons of people giving SOMER their ISK for a chance to win.

The ISK betted will be returned to CCP or kept by SOMER? Congrats to SOMER for landing the opportunity though, but CCP really you should rethink the items you are giving away because giving out items you said were gone forever is just bad (and I know you can change your mind at any time and reintroduce things - as you just sorta did - but that doesn't make it a smart move).
