You are attacking a playerbase, no, a small percentage of the playerbase (meaning, the people who actually read forums) because you have failed to acknowledge that not everyone sees things the way that you do.

People like this do not deserve a position to represent said playerbase.

Although, maybe I'm one of the few that actually understand CCPs vision, I realize that focusing on one tiny aspect will not bring this "war" to a standstill. You'll simply upset the other side.

I'm 'attacking' people who prefer to build their own vision of whats real based on sensationalism. But you're rationalizing their position which is terrifying. And yeah, I'd prefer not to represent people who have the intellectual credibility of a tabloid reader.

That's funny, because a lot of the whining and war mongering is fueled by people who wear the metaphorical tinfoil hat. We'll see what happens next CSM.

I also didn't vote for you.

The new campaign will hopefully reach the masses. We will strive to keep people with their own personal agenda out of the CSM. What we need are people who represent the playerbase as a whole. Not just people with a narrow-vision of what they believe EVE is.

Especially, Mittens.

And yet they are the very people who will be targeted by a media campaign. Kinda ironic, non?

You have yet to understand that your reactionary statements simply make you look like a screaming toddler. Let's sit down and talk about the real issues instead of spouting a bunch of dumb garbage because you aren't getting your way at this very moment.

Sure, EVE isn't all about spaceships. CCP does have a future vision.

But the large, vast majority of the playerbase believes that the spaceships part has been neglected over a large period of time. The current CSM has been elected because simply put the average spaceship player believes this. There is no secret conspiracy.

Wait your turn, we've waited ours.

You also have to understand that the spaceships part is one of the most important parts of the game. Without it, you would have no combat, no politics, no real reason to mine, station trade, or do whatever. EVE isn't about watching your ISK wallet increase. Spaceships blowing up is what drives EVE, and if you don't have spaceships blowing up, you lose everything else.

You forget to realize that the CSM has been elected to represent the players for an entire year. It's been what, three months and you are already calling for their heads to roll. Give it an honest attempt, they may look like or be assholes to you, but look at the effort they are giving to do try to help the game.

Woah, woah, let me just stop you right there. That is completely incorrect. I don't think I have to explain why, either.

You claim that a "vast majority" of the playerbase agrees with you. Now I know that this couldn't possibly be true, because I'm sure 300-400k people didn't take part in the last CSM.

And hey, if you can make a sweeping statement like that, so can I!

I voted.

The problem is that not enough people vote. I'm willing to bet that this is due to either not caring or not knowing and/or having enough information. That is the problem I and a group of people set out to solve.

Your figures are way off. There are maybe 150-175k actual individual humans subbed to Eve, the rest are alts.

CCP has said there will not be game affecting items in the nex store.

No they didn't, they said "they have no plans", and that was after the riots. They most certainly had plans, originally you were going to be able to buy special skinned ships directly off the nex, later they changed it so that it would take an existing ship as an input. None of that has happened yet, but seriously, don't fool yourself.

It's easier to get rid of something before it exists, we dodged a bullet, but the clip isn't empty yet.

Here's the fact: WiS has waited more than five years to be implemented...

CCP has been constantly adding and tweaking the spaceship pew-pew aspect almost every expansion.

And now they're going to come back to fixing nullsec/sov this winter onwards.

I don't get why everybody should complain about this. :p

Well, a simple observation of the participation in the "Jita Riots" as well as other factors such as faltering subscription and concurrent login numbers would indicate stagnation. The fact that all of the current CSM members elected are generally nullsec-centric (with the exception of a few, such as the highsec representative and the wormhole dweller) would mean that enough of the voters did care.

People never vote for the CSM. Many, many EVE players aren't even aware of the existence of the CSM. However, the general outcry against poor balance in many areas of the game would speak to El Digin's statement.

Good luck in your quest. I only hope that you give people the entire facts about the situation, like the CSM currently is, rather than your opinions on the matter.

This is why we're recruiting people from every spectrum. While I feel that WiS should be equal in attention alongside FiS, there are those that would disagree with me.

Perhaps FiS having a grace period of attention before getting to what "avatar enthusiats" want. Or maybe, just concentrating on one part of "space."

I have my opinions, I defend them. But it's time more than just a large alliance voted for people.
