Out of Pod Experience

I'm knocking on the door.

Nobody ever answers locked doors. Nobody ever has. It's desperate as my wounds are aching so badly.

I re-tie the tournique on my leg and hope that I can survive long enough to get some help. It was a tough battle against the Amarr and I definitely came out the worst. Lasers gouging and whispering against my defences.

I don't want to go through many more fights like that. I was lucky to escape intact. I just need somewhere to rest my bones and recuperate.

I really hope someone will open the door - the vision is starting to fade from my eyes...it's getting hard to see...

Ishtanchuk Fazmarai is having a late dinner, sitting in a quiet table by the main bar. She's having some cold fried chicken steaks from a large plate and accompanies them with toasted bread, dressed with olive oil and salt. She looks tired and eats slowly, cutting the steaks in little pieces and biting small chunks of bread. Indahmawar comes to the table with a glass of wheat beer and places it before Ishtanchuk.

- Here, have it. Did you want the bottle too?
- No, a glass will be enoguh.
- You look very tired...
- Hum. Just ran some missions. Shouldn't had taken the last one, it never ended.
- Ish...
- Yes?
- I am very thankful for your help. Without you, i could never earn enough money...
- Nevermind, we're family.
- I tried to talk to H., but he's very busy with the Fountain war and some friends asked him to put his POS back online and manufacture some supplies... so he's short on cash at the moment and can't help much.
- Oh, i'm doing fine, missions always are easy money.
- But you looks so tired...
- Well, it's the ship. The Nightmare. The ship-capsule interface is... exhausting. That beast is not made for capsuleers nor commoners. Probably a Sansha can fly them endlessly, but that thing... something on the software or who know what, it gets on you after some hours.

Ishtanchuk yawned and had a long drink from the beer glass.

- I wish I could be of more help... I sometimes feel useless, while you... -started saying Indahmawar.
- Oh, not again... -mumbled Ish, louder than she wanted. Indah blushed and looked away of Ish.
- Eh, I didn't... -started saying Ishtanchuk.
- You didn't what? -said Yiole Gionglao, towering on the two petite cousins as she stood by the table- Oh, fried chicken steaks! Can I have that little one? -she said, and grabbed a piece of chicken, bited half of it and gladfully chewed it.
- Mmm, ish melishious! Why wasn't that on the menu?
- Ish just brought the recipe -said Indah.
- Thank you, Ish. The spices are fantastic -and Yiole ate the second half of the steak. As the cousins stood still, she added: So, what's going on? Don't you look tired, Ish? What are you doing?
- I've been running some missions to help pay the agreement we had about Eugerelia's clone...
- Oh, that... I should had figured. You know girls, if i can help in some way... is that expensive?
- Don't worry Yiole, we know we can count on you if we need to. But really, we are doing it fine.
- Good to know. Hey, do you mind if I go get a drink from the bar?

As Yiole walked away, Ish drinked the remaining beer and left the cutleries on the table.

- I'm going to sleep now, Indah. And don't mind what we're doing, OK?
- What you're doing, you mean...

Ish kissed Indah's forehead and moved away, to the stairs and her appartment. As Yiole returned from the bar with a glass of Irn Bru, Indah cut some of the fried chicken steaks and began eating them. It was very tasty, certainly.

- Can I help you with that chicken? -asked Yiole, grining and sitting on Ish's chair.
- You're invited...

Ok, since this is TGFB im going to ask a drinks question.

Why the hell do people in the USA drink root beer? UK root beer is vastly superior. This stuff tastes like chemicals!

I went to an import store today during my break and bought a bunch of sodas including 3 kinds of root beer as dandelion and burdock is one of my favourite drinks for summer.

But this stuff.... is just... oh god its so awful. 2 sips and i poured it away. Same with the Barqs root beer, equally as vile.

So root beer is made out of sassafras root, just it can't use sassafras root because it is carcinogenic and so uses artificial flavors instead...what funny things i get to learn with you, men.

Now, won't someone buy me an IrnBru? *winks, winks*

I had to run, my quarters are on the other end of the station...had I walked, the movie would have been over.

*catches breath

I vote Gaellia vs Yiole in the first mudwrestling match. Winner takes me back to my quarters.
