I should also point that that while I was able to download the new launcher I still can't log on for the time being and receive this message.

OFFLINE MODE
You are seeing this because no connection could be made to the content server or something went wrong while loading the online content.

Not that there's much to report that hasn't been covered in this thread. At the moment there's no solution that works for all use cases that we know of. What I can tell you is that that investigation into what is causing the massive load issues to our web servers is underway and we're not going home until this is fixed. We're really sorry for all the trouble.

Yes, I understand s*** happens sometimes, so I am not really all that upset. However, being we pay to play Eve *except those who use in-game cash to play* is it fair to say we can expect something from this ? To top this, people are still going on about it in forums an I have read from page one to here....I really do not want to go through each and every individual one looking for something that one of the DEVS or CSM or anyone posted that might have been related to this post that I posted. I feel no need to continue reading as they are all the same. Rants on how they are upset or my launcher isn't working, really by now I think they would figure out that it's that way for everyone and until you guys fix it, unless they do it manually it will not work.

That said, I would like to see a response to this or a response thread when you guys finish. Thanks Smile

The launcher isn't working for me either.

I have a temporary work around if someone hasn't already mentioned it.

You can go in the eve folder and run

- repair.exe
- exefile.exe

that will allow you to bypass the launcher for now and at least log in.

^ Mine too. I can get the updated launcher, but no dice on the updated build.

I wonder if Dust 514 is working right now? I think I'll go there instead.

EDIT: Oh yeah, that repair file? Doesn't even want to open for me. I can even see two processes for it running in my task manager.

I do not accept the statement that those issues cannot be fixed before the release. Can you post online your beta test records to show that it actually worked on CCP computers? All OSes, please.

Repair tool found nothing wrong, run repair again, downloaded the launcher, launcher fails to,open, says i do not have an internet connection. Not good.
