Hi Resolution Texture Pack - Show Your Support!!!

This is something that is worth considering in my opinion.

Prior to this year a huge issue was ISPs imposing a data cap on their users. However pressure from Google and the internet has caused some to back away from the idea.

I do support the idea. Yet I must add that I think it would be a good idea to have the launcher (Which I assume would be the software to do this optional download) warn the user if it detects an ISP known to impose data caps under at least 250GB.

There would be no additional bandwidth requirements as all rendering is done client-side. That said, BRING ON THE HI-RES TEXTURES!

I'm guessing that the marketing department would like them too, all those Eve video's just got a bit more sexy...

Not irrelevant in the least. 4x the resolution means these packs are going to be massive. Unless you are lucky enough to be on Google Fiber or a decent company you are likely to have an ISP that is or was interested in a data cap if not implemented already.

If the pack was the only thing you downloaded that entire month it would be one thing. Yet there is Netflix, Youtube, Steam, etc.. that can eat up data caps very quickly.

+1 for high res textures. Release them and let players handle the file bandwidth and getting the textures themselves. We'll figure out a way if we need to.

COUNT me IN please, I want everything and anything that makes my experience in the game MORE real, and looking the MOST awesomeness it can possible be.... I still think even 10 yrs on its not Realiztic enough and needs DX11 and more wrk..

Love this game more and more and need more out of it.
