IMHO, the Peralles Incident (Chronicle) is just begging for a story line expansion and seeking an explanation.

What happened? An important Gallente Senator disappears and there is no public explanation. Why has there been an apparent cover up? By Whoom? Who else was involved? What sort of political intrigue can cause a failure of the Gallente Three Pillars of Power

The Peralles Incident Writ filed with the Gallente supreme court on behalf of Arek Jaalan.

Yes, I've always wondered about that. Was it really a gate malfunction or was it an assassination because of politics? Either way it could have interesting implications.

Stargates are in some way still unknowns in how exactly they work, and some have been upgraded/changed to eliminate certain flaws. Hell the incident with the opening of the drone regions points to the Empires not knowing everything, considering someone or, dare I say it, something managed to hack into and activate that entire network by doing something nobody even thought possible.

In this dark void we are like brilliant stars, holding within us both the creative and destructive power to bring a new dawn upon worlds or plunge them into eternal darkness.

There's this interesting subgroup of RPers that like to take things like that story and play around with crazy supernatural junk. Istvaan wrote an article about a ship that vanished and came back changed, Simca Devalon vanished into a stargate in a manner similar to Peralles, my character has a quiet fear of gate travel.

Now is there really a strange supernatural otherworld lurking beyond the gates that capsuleers travel through when they die and clone....probably not, but its fun stuff to fool around with.

This sounds like just the sort of thing a "SnipeHunt" story could be played with.
