Goonswarm effecting all high sec miners?

Oh, please.

The Goons aren't intelligent enough to make enough ISK themselves so they are resorting to extortion, it's no more complicated than that.

ha, better have another look. Goons don't give a flying crap whether the miner is a bot or not... and honestly there are fewer bots in high sec belts than people exaggeratedly state.

No they arent after bots because thier ratting bots are still hard at work....

Mostly they make a small dent in some botters who can replace those losses faster than they can destroy them...


But most of there fun is the new guys just starting out thats giving them the most fun,,,, Thats why they target mostly newer made charcters when they can.. one its a bot or its a noob which is an easy kill.... Im still mining have not lost a mack yet and makeing more money thanks to people like that... Basicly a online version of MS 13.... Just nerdyer..Lol

Go ahead, keep believing that. Goons are actually filling an essential role of removing/preventing bot/macro use as much as possible, since nobody else is doing it. Investing in topes before they begin war on bot/macro miners is not bad, it makes good business sense.

Something something, bots, something something market price, and something supply and demand. Pure economics and a little fun mixed in. You can fill in the rest of the blanks.

You know, it really shouldn't be all that hard to avoid getting suicide ganked. If you really wanted to mine ice under the interdiction, forget having a few guys sit around you remote repping... instead, have a couple guys make trial accounts, and continually come after YOU in their rookie ships shooting you for next-to-no damage... and not incidentally, bringing Concord in to guard you. If the goons want to go after you, they need to shoot something else in system... and if you've got Concord on overview like they do, that's your cue to have your other buddy shoot you, and being them back. Repeat until Goons get bored, dispose of trial account once sec status hits -5, profit off inflated oxytopes.

Because you ARE a part of it all. In EVE, everything is connected. Your mining is part of the greater EVE economy.

If you want to play a game where you have all the harsh, unforgiving world of EVE but can play all by yourself with no-one else, I recommend you invest in a PS3 and a copy of Dark Souls. Added bonus: You'll be all set for DUST!

By the way, does anyone know exactly where they are butchering miners? What regions? And does anybody know how long they are planning on killing miners for no proper reason at all? (Killing miners because it cuts off the enemy's primary source of materials is not a good enough reason to justify killing innocent miners who haven't done anything against Goonswarm)

by the way the kill all miners campaign will last as long as ganking is more fun than mining

If you're properly tanked, and Concord's in belt, then they basically have to use a Minmatar Battleship to alpha with artillery. Not all Goons can do this, and in any event, it'll hardly be their first choice, on account of relative expense. Also, if the goons show up while you're mining, and they try to distract Concord a few times, that'd be your cue to go somewhere else; your ability to have buddies summon Concord is a precaution, NOT an absolute defence. As always, utilize common sense and situational awareness.
