I just wanted to say how much fun I've had at the website, it's a really well thought out set up, and the atmosphere created by it is exciting and fun. Though I didn't win exactly as much as I've spent, I came close, and won a lot of cool ships in the process! Only been playing for a few days but it really is a great website. First one like it I've ever tried, but I was glad to see how successful you can be if you enjoy gambling.

This celebration, we decided to draw five winners to split the Blink Blast prize of 250b. The tickets were awarded for just Blinking normally, with the caveat that previous Blast winners could not win again. The lucky winners are:

Finally, we drew five runners up to the main Bonk drawing. Each of these winners were given the choice of one of the mini bonks that we ran during this celebration. Thanks to all of our friends in the Blink channel (and out of game) who patiently stuck with us during our server problems earlier this week! We're monitoring the new hardware for any issues, but so far things seem to be running smoothly. We really appreciate all of the well wishes we received and the kind words that were passed along in channel while our staff was running around and putting out fires.

With this celebration wrapped up, we're coming up on a milestone so huge it's tempting to express it as a decimal. Our .5q celebration, or 500 TRILLION isk Celebration, is fast approaching. With the prizes we have lined up for it (and for the week to come), you may want to consider doing a bit of extra mining or ratting. This will be a celebration the likes of which have not ever been seen by Eve. Until then, however, fly safe, and happy Blinking!

WOW - I just thought I was going to be one of those who never won anything from a drawing, like my numbers were afraid of daylight.

I have had more than 50% of the mini-bonk tickets on at least one occasion and more than 25% on several occasions, I just never won until the 450T celebration mini-bonks were drawn.

Lady Luck turned her back on me all those times when I "enhanced" my luck through sheer volume. But the truth remains, only one ticket is needed to win and until this week. I was never holding that ticket.

I was reading others talking about having 0.0048 % chance of winning and thinking how many times I've lost to people with those odds. But I hung in there and plugged along. I remember seeing so many weeks pass by with none of the people who had their pictures next to big numbers of bonk and mini-bonk tickets all week long end up winning anything. I won this mini-bonk with a modest 10k tickets and I don't even know how many total there were. 10k left me with enough to have 10k for each of the mini-bonks during the celebration. Then, on the last day I realized we had one more mini-bonk that was only up for a few hours and I did not have enough tokens to enter. I would have missed that achievement and mini-bonk if it had not been for someone asking when the drawing would be and I checked the remaining time on the bonk countdown clock and it dawned on me that the last mini-bonk was over so I looked and found I had zero mini-bonk tickets on the short-lived one. I got busy, knowing my luck was not doing so good and had stopped playing to let my losing (please notice that losing only has one "o") streak happen without me - but I managed to win a few and get some tickets to make the achievement. Hey, I'm an old soldier - I can't pass by awards without an effort!

As usual, I congratulate all those who won and thank Somer and her Blinksters for throwing a great party! I hope my numbers will get over their fear of daylight, and I hope those who are waiting for their first drawing win, or first anything win, will get it soon.

I hear the comment every now and then about "the house always wins" but that is the same as saying "the Grocery Store always wins". Blink makes a profit on every ticket sold, the grocery makes a profit on every item sold. Blink never wins, a player does. I don't know about you other blinkers, but I'm proud to be part of something that donated an equal amount of ISK to each of the tourney fleets to help level the playing field out a little so fleets without huge alliances backing them could show up more equally prepared.

I know Blink donates a lot of ISK to a lot of community activities, but it is not something they advertise or talk about very much, so I can't even tell you where to go to see a list of the community donations. I can tell you I like knowing that each loss I have is still a little bit of a win, at least for the community.
